What foreign car brands do you think will come to America in the future? Not necessarily Chinese.
>>16484419
Skoda. They're already taken out US patents for the Superb, Yeti, and Octavia.
>>16484428
Aren't Skodas now known for their quality? They used to on par with Fiats in the 50's and Hyundais in the 80's in therms of cheapness.

Got the front GCs installed. Went ahead and put in the Energy Suspension top hat bushings since I was taking it out anyway. I set the passenger side slightly lower than the driver side so it would be even. Aside from that they're at the highest setting.
I'll do the rears later on. My asthma kicked in hard which forced me to stop. They feel pretty good, though.

Should Cadillac bring the XLR back and compete with Porsche? V6 TT model?
I feel like Trump would actually buy one.
>>16509596
>I feel like Trump would actually buy one.
If he did, no one else would. He can't even pay people to come to his inauguration.
Cadillac doesn't even compete with Porsche, they aren't even in the same league.
Cadillac competes with Acura, Infinity, Volvo and the other tier 2 luxury brands.

B-but not enough Caddys on 5th Avenue!
Hey /o/. I know absolutely nothing about cars but next year I'm gonna have to commute 120 miles a day. What the fuck do I do?
More specifically, what cheap normie car can I get that won't fuck up? Preferably something with good gas mileage.
>>16509464
Toyota Prius. It's a meme car but it's dead reliable and it'll get you the fuel economy that you really need.
>>16509464
Move. It'd be retarded to have a commute that long.
How big of a Hatchback/ wagon do you need to fit a washer or dryer? I think my washer in roughly 30" x 38" x 40"
Or do they not fit at all?
Just go get a fucking Uhaul truck for $20 you fucking hick.
>>16508500
A regular sized washer or dryer won't fit in a Matrix. A Miele might.
The only hatch I know for a fact a washer/dry will fit into is a new honda fit.
Anybody else DD a V8?
if you don't, you're a faggot.
not THAT truck, but a 6.0L GMC 2500. I think it's pretty fast for weighing like 6,500 lbs with tools and equipment.
hurr derr mah mpg
50 year old design, 490 horsepower stock from the factory, Naturally aspirated.
How did Europeans sleep at night back then? Or its it worse now seeing how they can't even reach that with modern technology?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JfkpyzlGxw
>>16508301
Don't be a dolt. That was an SAE gross rating, and plenty of European sedans make that kind of power.
It's because of the engineering behind that engine that they can sleep at night with out flying an SS flag on their lawn.

I was driving to buf wild wings doing about 80 on the highway, nothing happens. Driving home doing 30, suddenly temp gauge is all the way up. Stop before I get home. Some coolant boiled over and sprayed in the engine bay. Let it cool, drive home at 10mph so I don't damage anything, at least. I replaced the thermostat, aired out and topped off the cooling system and my car no longer overheats. But now I've got a problem. My car reaches mid temp range just fine but my heat takes forever to get warm. I took about 20 mins of driving before the air actually got warm. It was about 35-40 out today, but my cars temp was just fine. Once I got home I noticed some light smoke coming from engine bay, it was coming out near my radiator cap and left radiator fan. My coolant reservoir was just about filled up all the way but no coolant is leaking from anywhere (when car is cold it just sits above max line) also my car still smells of burning coolant. Could it be the coolant that spilled out from the thermostat change? Please tell me my head gasket is fine.
>tl;dr my car is not leaking, not overheating, heat inside takes way too long to warm up, fans don't turn on at mid temperature, my coolant reservoir was completely filled once I got home from driving, and there was light smoke coming from radiator area
>>16508261
Blockage in the heater core?
>>16508261
sounds like a problem with your heater core. ouch. Don't they have to pull the dashboard to replace that?
>>16508302
probably, ill see if i can flush it before taking it to a mechanic
>>16508320
yes i beleive you're right. but what about my coolant issue?
Hey /o/ is there anything I can do to a 2011 Mazda 3 sedan without making it look ricey or stupid, nothing major just anything to make it look less like a mom car, I feel like it has potential to look cool, but I can't see how, thanks. (asking for a friend)

Went to go look at this car. It was really clean and has only 27,000 miles on it. Just not sure how much this car is really worth, considering it still is an 08. How much should I pay for this car?
>>16507837
Not sure on the price, I know used 08s are down to the low 20s, high 10s where I am. Make sure you get a warranty though because my E63 almost killed me for the year I owned it. Those NA 6.2s have VERY bad head issues.
Money should not be a concern even though it's a used Mercedes. The potential issues of older AMG models not so wallet friendly when it comes to maintenance.
>>16507837
Looks like it's been lowered or if they had air suspension it's fucked. 08s might've suffered from balance shaft problems.
Stuff people do that annoy you, I'll start.
It annoys me when people put negative camber on their rear wheels when they use it strictly for street use. There's no point. The only use for negative rear camber is for better traction when hauling ass into a corner. Then it reduces traction when accelerating because there's less friction. But then again to each their own right?
I remember my first post on /o/
