Saw one for sale for $124.
As a first gun it seems pretty decent.
Only problem is that I live in MD. If I get it shipped to a VA FFL and then bring it over, will it be legal? Asking because of the threaded barrel and the 16' length.

bump
>>34332353
If you ship it to a VA FFL, s/he is going to ask for your license. Once you hand over the license and it says "MARYLAND", you're hosed.
You won't be able to test the legality of bringing it across state lines, because you wont get the rifle in the first place.
Mossberg rifles are bottom tier dog shit
What is the most popular gun in each state (besides the good ol' AR-15).
>>34332259
probably fudd shotguns or 22s
Judging by my house calls over the years, fudd shotguns and basic 22lr long guns are the #1 thing people have 10 of, for some reason, instead of thinking outside of the box in any way.
>>34332259
Are you going to tell us? Or are you expecting us to pull these facts out of the ether?
>>34332414
Why would anyone own a .22? It's so boring to shoot
So I'm assuming by now /k/ has heard the news about the vepr ban.
I'm making this thread to get a full understanding of exactly what this ban means
>What does this mean for those of us that still wish to buy one? Is there a deadline for when the ban officially starts?
>What does this mean for those of us that own one? Does that mean we can't sell them?
>or does the ban simply mean that they can no longer be imported into the country? Businesses that have some are free to sell what they have left in they're inventory
8 threads and counting...
They're banned from import, that's all.
Enjoy paying $1500+ for your decent tier AK47.
Feels good being a leaf this mean I can sell this shit from Canada and make a killing?
Hey /k/. I'm a strong supporter of 2nd amendment rights, but I don't think I could ever bring myself to owning a gun. This is due to me finding my step-father after he committed suicide by shooting himself behind the temple. It kind of fucked me up and perhaps gave me some irrational firearm anxiety. Makes me feel like a bit of a pussy. I could handle guns just fine before that, but I can't bring myself to touch one now.
That all said, I still want to carry something I can use for self defense if the situation calls for it.
I currently carry a doubled up dog leash in my coat pocket, pic related. I figure it's as concealable as a knife, but it has a greater range (in case they have a knife). Also, I'd rather beat an assailant to a bloody pulp than stab and potentially kill one. This is for both legal and moral reasons. Obviously this won't help me against anyone with a firearm, but I figure it's better than nothing.
I guess I could get a taser. I used to carry pepper-spray, but I gave the can to my girlfriend, figuring she might need it more if I'm not around.
Alternatively, I was considering "gun therapy", if such a thing exists, to break my fear of firearms.
What are your thoughts on any and all of this? Just looking for general advice, stories, and maybe some additional perspective.
Better hope they don't step inside your swing OP
>>34332034
This lol. If he's hitting someone with a dog leash he's already fucked, but if they get inside the swing then he's really fucked.
>>34332016
Sad story, OP. Guns are the only real choice for self defense though imo. Try to get used to them again. Good luck.
I know these threads are autistic and hated, but swat 4 is on gog now and yall niggas need to know about that

ubisoft has made the same open world game for over a decade now, and while the setting and gun porn of far cry 5 is cool, I won't be purchasing it. you can fool me 15 times, but not 16 times

Ubisoft has become the rehash factory.
I'm applying to the US Army as an infantryman MOS 11B. Any tips for a new hopeful? I'm planning on doing as long as I can to maximise my skillset.

Yea, kill yourself.
The Irish Pike, used by the heroes and freedom fighters of 1798 against the civilian massacring tyrannical British scum.
Rather ineffective but a proud icon for freedom and good fighting evil and tyranny regardless.
British weapons need not apply since, let's be real here, the British never fought for a just or righteous cause in the country's existence.

The LeMat revolver, used by the heroes and patriots of the CSA in their defense against the aggressive and un-American Union slime.
A representation of the Confederate leaders and their struggle against the cowardly Lincolnites' goal of violating the Constitution and complete destruction of American values and culture.

A piece of shit made by a fascist who probably personally wouldn't even want you to have it unless you have a nice pair of combat boots for him to lick.

How does carrying a knife feel like?
Like bags of sand
>>34331481
Just like carrying a hammer. It's nice when you come across a nail.
Like warm apple pie
Or are we just the least autistic?
Super autistic but probably one of the nicer.
Hate each other, love outsiders. We want people interested in guns because it means there's less support for anti-gun legislation.

I hate antifunners more than I hate any of you

Till alla svenskar på /k/, jag har tre frågor
Får man äga en Mosin Nagant i Sverige? Vilken sorts licens skulle jag behöva i så fall?
Sedan, var skulle jag kunna köpa ett sådant gevär?

I hear this board doesn't know anything when it comes to not lethal self defense. Just curious if anyone here has ever had to physically defend themselves? Tell your story. I maced myself once just to see how it feels.
i once once once once once
>>34331264
Don't come in talking shit noob. We know about non lethal defense. We just don't condone it. It's best to kill a person so you can't be sued for damages, dead men tell no tales.
So get out now, thanks for stopping by.
>>34331306
So its confirmed, you guys don't know anything lo
There are a tiny amount of times you can kill another person and the self defense claim will hold up in court. You'll be someones pretty little bitch in prison
