I'm looking for a good ol' rifle for camping, bushcraft, and hiking.
I need a rifle that:
>Isn't mad of polymer
>Has a 10 - 5 round ammo capacity
>Is either Bolt action or Semi Auto (no lever guns)
>Short (less than a meter)
>legal in all 50 states
>Inexpensive (I plan on camping and hiking with it)
>Fires inexpensive ammo
>Lightweight
>Could put down a bear (if absolutely necessary)
>Is extremely reliable
This rifle might not exist, but I still have my hopes up.
Tikka M65A.
>>34334813
Tikka, Winchester model 70, and CZ 557 all meet those criteria. 270 Winchester is the best cartridge. 308 is OK too.
>>34334813
Why not a levergun?
Sounds perfect for what you want.
What is it like to be fatally shot?
Do the lights just sort of "go out"?
Do you think it's painful?
Sorry to get philosophical I'm kinda drunk
>>34334651
You ever smoke dmt? Give it a try.
>>34334651
>What is it like to be fatally shot?
...
Wanna find out?
That would depend on what type of fatal shot it is
Having an artery punctured will give you a couple minutes to bleed out as you drift in and out of consciousness
Getting shot in the brain on the other hand, you'd probably feel intense pain for a fraction of a second and then you just don't feel anything at all because you're dead
I need more like the pic that aren't covered with watermarks

Whats your opinion? I'm looking for a good multitool thats decently pocket sized so i can carry with me at all times.. can be a swiss army knife or one of those butterfly plier types.
Hopefully something hardy that would last years.
I was searching for this but couldnt find something convincing so i decided to ask here.
Pic not entirely related, downloaded it to start thread
>>34334467
Well what exactly do you want out of it specifically? There's thousands of multitools that all suit different roles.
>>34334483
Somethng efficient for as many roles as possible thats hardy and durable but still able to fit in your pocket..

Hi /k/,
Please steer me in any direction you think best.
I am considering buying my first gun this summer and need some input. My budget hovers right around $300. I was thinking I should buy a surplus Beretta 92s. I fired a 92fs years ago and liked it, whereas I have never fired a striker-fired pistol. Is it worth saving another $200 for a new Glock 19 if I'm just looking for a gun to leave around the house and shoot occasionally with my gun-shy live-in girlfriend? I know that Shields are like 250 right now but I liked the 92fs I fired in the past. Anyone have experience with the 92s? Should I get it from Buds/JG/SOhio/Gunbroker? I've been lurking a long time but am surprisingly nervous when it comes time to shop.
>>34332935
I don't have it, but there's a little comic about coming here, and asking "What gun should I buy, /k/?"
http://www.gunbroker.com/item/659309599
>>34332935
I like mine. The sights are hilariously bad though. The mag release also takes some getting used to. Other than that, it's a'ight. I got mine from JG when they were $250. Bought it locally, so no shipping or FFL transfer fees.
What does /k/ think of IV8888?
Personally, I like his videos, they give me most of the info I want and they're quite entertaining. Not somu ch a fan of Chad though...
The general consensus is /k/ in general does not like him. /k/ loved Barry and when Eric fired him (and he died shortly after) they blamed Eric. The prevailing opinion of Chad is that he has a flat personality and is boring.
I personally like some of his videos. I will throw on a milsurp video of his a background noise at times. He does decent reloading videos, although he seems to have forgotten that most early reloaders are broke and don't have the money to buy a $800 piece of equipment.
They're kind of hypocritical shitheads.
They rant about tacticool gun range ninjas with AR-15 that's decked with all sort of accessories, while selling an AR decked out in all sort of accessories.
And they also rant about how some people like to rapid fire guns, not caring about accuracy, while many of their videos are of them doing the exact same thing.
>>34332991
The mall ninja AR is obviously satire & they have tons of videos talkig about reloading and long range accuracy
I fucking love this gun, /k/.
The ergonomics are vastly superior to Glock.
It's replaced my duty weapon, formerly a G19.
I pew much harder, faster, and accurately with it.
It's nice and I like it lots.
It conceals off-duty just as well as my G19 did.
Negligible difference in size compared to G19.
I can take it apart completely for max cleans.
Put some Trijicon HD night sights on it.
I've put ~1000 rounds through it already and I love it.
Got a Safariland ALS mid-ride holster for work and it's lovely.
Feelin' very fancy and comfortable with my purchase.
/k/ommando, post your P320s.
Pic is related, not mine but the exact same.

Never. Only on /k/. Marine grunt vet too. No one IRL has anything negative to say about Marines either, but /k/ sure does. Don't think /k/ in anyway resembles any actual sentiment of real people.

This, only on /k/ where two factors are always in play
1. I wont get raped or broken
2. The vet is being a genuine fuckbag retard and his cervix is not dankable.
That said I only go full edgelord when the vet is a real shitbag person or is from a country I don't like.
I accused an Ulster vet of raping children once for example.

Hello /k/.
due to increasing tensions both around the world and locally, i am looking to purchase a California legal semi auto rifle that shoots 7.62x39mm ammunition. my budget is 1k. I was thinking of a C39V2 like in pic related unless anyone has any other suggestions. Thanks for the help

>Hello /k/.
>due to increasing water height both in front and the back of the ship i am looking to purchase a Titanic legal weight set.
>>34330159
Your reason for wanting to buy a rifle is stupid, but SKS. Check the calguns forums marketplace.
>>34330159
>>34330175
This, SKS is legal, cheaper than any AK that will be Cali legal, and generally have butter construction due to all milled parts.

>m-muh LL is not an argument, Battle of Moscow was a defeat before any relevant quantity of LL equipment reached Soviets, and LL was around 10% of Soviet production
>m-muh K/D is not an argument, Eastern Front was 1.3 to 1 in Axis avor, slaughtering civilians and POWs doesn't relate to combat prowess

>leader who sent 300,000 troops to Tunisia to get captured, unable to comprehend that Mediterranean was lost and there would be no way to supply them properly
>leader who sentenced the 6th Army to destruction because he was bamboozled by Goering
Tell me why some autists still revere Nazi military as some pinnacle of warfighting when all of their victories were a result of inaction of their enemies
Cause they were stylish, ya dingus.
>>34329366
All of this true. Also:
>when your leader prohibits you from using your army's own defense doctrine because it is "defeatists"
>So when Russians attack you are prohibited from using defense in depth with mobile reserve. All of your troops must be in static defenses all within range of enemy artillery.
>instead of s lightly defended line with an out-of-range mobile reserve for counterattacks in key areas using your superiority at mechanized offense.
>literally the doctrine your armed forces developed through years of experience in the field.
