Is /k/ the friendliest board?

Super autistic but probably one of the nicer.

It really depends... some people here are great, others are absolute assholes. Overall tho, every /k/ommando has a /k/omrade in everyone else here. At the bottom line, we all hate people who want to ban guns more than each other no matter how pro-battleship or how pro-glock someone may be.

I don't browse many boards, but it seems that /fit/ and /k/ can put away the shitposting long enough to help beginners, but like much of 4chan, our contrarian streak can get in the way.

Stop being neohipster contrarian fags. This is the land of AR15s, Glocks and 870s. You can buy a yota over a Ford, a north face jacket instead of Columbia, etc, but there's no need to shit on people who aren't as autistic/nostalgic as you.

As far as /k/ is concerned (outside of the standard shitposting you'll get on every board) there's only two kinds of people, pro-guns and anti-guns.

If you're pro-gun, you're a friend, if you're on the fence about guns you're a pro-gun waiting to happen, if you're kinda anti-gun you're a pro-gun waiting to be converted, if you're vicious anti-gun you're scum.

I started going to /3/ recently because I'm trying to get gud, but, while the sticky is awesome, the rest of the board seems pretty lame. Too early to call it though

/ck/ isn't "friendly" in the traditional sense, but it's the most laid back out of all the boards

I've had much more pleasant scifi and vidya discussion here than I ever would have got out of /sci/, /tv/ or /v/. It's nice to have people who get autistic about the Clone Wars or whatever and in a good way, not just shitting up threads with prequel/ OT shitflinging.

I came here as a nogunz anti-gun socialist. I had some nice conversations with people here, heard gospel of gun jesus, and now I'm very pro gun and very anti-gubbamint (though /k/ had less to do with the second one).
It's a nice board.

/fit/ was good in the pre Zyzz days. /k/ has always been a high functional board.

I've noticed this about the music community in real life, THEY'RE ALL HUGE ASSHOLES. They have flame wars over the smallest of things (especially metal fans) and it always starts this way
