So /k/ I'm 19. When I was 16 I did some stupid shit at my school (nothing harmful or all that threatening. Primarily banter) that got me thrown into a very low-security Mental Facility here in Cali. I had to be transported multiple times to multiple different buildings before my"hold" actually started. Apparently, what I had told my friends (literally just jokes about school shootings in an unironic tone) was enough to get me put under a '51-50 hold/contract'. Which basically strips me of my 2A rights for the next 5 years. I had the option to not sign it, but I didn't care much for guns back then, and well for the past year or two, I've gotten super into guns and I wanted to buy one when I turned 18...that's when I remembered I had the contract. After a bit of digging, I've discovered that this 51-50 shit might (heavy emphasis on might) be a California-only thing...meaning that, if that's the case, I can move out of state and be scot-free. I'm still not sure about it, so I came here to ask if any a y'all knew if that was the case with the contract? Anything'll help, I just don't want to wait until I'm 21 (or 22) to exercise my damned rights!

Hey lads,
Need the experts to unleased weaponised autism on a conundrum to settle an argument. Pic below shows an article of a Canacuck claiming a 3.5km kill. I would of thought the bullet would be non-lethal at that range. Can someone prove with math that it is actually possible or impossible?

turns out i didn't get issued a 416 bayonet as a reservist. but I'd rather have a M7 for compitability with my 870 anyways.

none of my pouches are anywhere deep enough to hold it. but i got plenty space for a bayonet mounted externally.
and believe it or not, but the closest thing we've got to a secondary weapon in our reserve forces is the MP7. and you'd be somehow lucky to be issued one anyway. glock 17s are obsolete now, apparently.

Wanting to buy a shotgun. Im still pretty new to the firearm thing. Ive only got a single S&W handgun. Budget for a Shotgun is about 400 give or take.
Remington 870 or Mossberg 500? Is there REALLY a difference between them? Or is there a better Shotgun for that price I should be looking at instead?

If you are on a tight budget, i would recomend a mossberg maverick88.
Its almost exactly the same as a 500, but only about $200.
It uses the same stocks, barrels, and aftermarket stuff.
iirc only the pump and safety are different.

hey /k/ Im super new to the gun community , i recently bought my first handgun (Sig Sauer P226) some live 9mm rounds and some blanks. I have some questions regarding blank bullets:
1. Say I load one blank cartridge into the chamber and then throw some small but solid thing(a pebble/a piece of metal etc.) into the barrel, will the blank eject the particle out of the pistol ?
2.Will doing that damage the gun/barrel
