How does carrying a knife feel like?
Like bags of sand

Just like carrying a hammer. It's nice when you come across a nail.
Like warm apple pie

Does it make you feel more secure?
> not using the superior option of pocket sand
>>34331545
No, it's more just a useful tool. I also carry a Glock 19 on a daily basis so the knife isn't my primary self-defense tool. I guess if all I had was a knife I'd feel it was better than my bare hands.

feels like carrying nothing
t.always carry a fixed
>>34331545
I'm in socialist Germany and there's virtually no way of getting a license to carry a gun.
So yes, carrying a knife makes me feel a bit more secure than not carrying anything at all. Comes in handy occasionally as a tool as well.
If your choice is carry nothing or carry a knife, get a knife. If you live in a country that's not completely retarded get a gun.
Feels good man
Buy cold steel

I carry one so I can open boxes or cut wire on the go, unpacking stuff in the parking lot right after I bought it, stuff like that.
It doesn't make me feel secure, I can't fight for worth a damn, if I really need to use a knife it would mean whatever danger I am dealing with is escalated and within arms reach, a knife would be better than nothing but I'd much rather not deal with that.
>>34331481
feel like I could cut open a taped up box pretty easily
it's a lot of responsibility but I'm a big guy
>>34331545
No because using a knife for self defense is fucking stupid, it does make cutting things a lot easier though
>>34331487
fpbp

>Not carrying pocket sand, a bible, lumps of silver, leaked CIA documents, a cyanide pill and a gun/knife
It's like you want a government agent to kill you.
>>34331545
Not particularly considering it's barely an inch and a half, I'm more afraid of some crazy lib prone to weapon freakouts seeing through it's ornamental appearance and going nuts on me.
Fortunately that hasn't happened yet, neither has being attacked by a robber or the like. Only time it's been outed is when someone asks me about it in public and someone I'm with tells them it's a knife, fucking infuriates me.
So, never used it for anything besides cutting open packaging, it's not useful for much else.

How is carrying a knife a big responsibility?
I have always carried a pocket knife for utility and never felt like it was, unless you think not stabbing people is a responsibility.
>>34334228
I was shitposting
like carrying anything else in your pocket
>>34331545
no, it actually concerns me that if I ever have to use it I'm probably in deep shit
It's pretty useful. i use mine pretty often. Only had one guy throw a fit about it.
>Be college student
>End of year party for a club I run
>Do tequila shots
>Need more lime slices, pull out pocket knife
>Guy next to me starts interrogating me about where I carry it/how often
>Laugh him off, cut and distribute limes/salts
>Drinko-de-Mayo
That's the only time I've ever been questioned about my knife
