Hello /k/
Im gonna go camping for a few days. This will be the first time im gonna go camping alone and for a long period of time. Ill go to a place far away from any civilization and desu im gind of spooked. I dont go camping alot but i want to try something new and i think going camping alone for about a week will boost my thirst for nature, innawoods and such. Any tips/advice?

High quality for the price point.
They don't sell to cops in ban states.
They have a huge variety of uppers in any configuration of barrel length, type and rail to buy to fill your every need.
Also the stuff they make is pretty top notch, even if you don't buy their rifle, uppers or lowers, their parts are popular for a reason, BCM Mod 0 stock is the best in the industry.
They surpass or are on par with Colt, and FN without being cucked for civilians and by buying their lower and a badic upper, you can get a M16A3 clone that's closer to mill spec and better than buying a colt at a hundred or two cheaper.

I bought a gun today and on the part where it said "have you ever been committed to a mental health institution" I wrote "No" but in reality 4 years ago I entered one myself and then was on antidepressants for 3 months. After the medicine was done I got "cleared" by the psych guy and said I was back to normal. It wasn't court ordered or against my will so there isn't federal record of it, and the NICS check came back green light, but I'm still scared I'm gonna get v&. If they send out a retrieval order do I get arrested too or do I just have to give the gun back?

I recently inherited a heavily sporterized kar98k. Drilled. New barrel. New sights. Rechambered. And that last point is where my question comes in. It's rechambered in 30-06. I'm wondering if I can use any sort of stripper clips for it. Apparently the 1903 springfield used stripper clips insanely close to mausers. To the point of patent infringement. But for 30-06. Could I use those for loading?
And what exactly could I do to make the old girl feel more like the warhorse she used to be. Partial desporterization steps and options.
She took her turn fighting the red bear. Then her turn serving a soldier in feeding his family under Old glory and I think I owe it to her as his grandson.

I might be wrong, but since 8mm Mauser and .30-06 are both based off the 7x57 Mauser cartridge, they should be similar enough. According to Wikipedia info, there's only a .003 inch difference in the rim diameter between .30-06 and 8mm Mauser, so 8mm clips should probably work just fine.

I can't think of any protective clothing comfortable to wear at night besides cut-resistant underwear, but that's some real overkill.
I would suggest wearing *something* on all body parts though. Wearing gear in the nude can be really uncomfortable. Also, should you need to go outside or into a colder room, you better not get too cold.
If you're in a siege-like situation, best keep all your clothes and gear.

For all-around operating, I would say you want full mobility, comfortable and quick drying boxer shorts on. Not sure why you would choose commando over that - youd be uncomfortable pretty damn quick
