Even a fucking unfinished game like Ark, a lot newer and better looking visually, runs smoother on my 5 year old PC than this garbage, even on lowest settings. RO2 is an aged game that still requires a fucking NASA PC to run it smoothly.

I've never gotten into mods on GTA V mainly because there's no mod manager set up to make shit organized instead of arranging data files manually. Though it really is a shame that mods for the game are being contested, considering the hundreds of youtube films made with cinema mods and wacky mods have driven traffic to the game, dunno who's pushing it but they're really shooting them self in the foot on this.

As for the update let's see;
New vehicles, that's a mobile command center in a semi, alot like the one in Knight Rider. An armored muscle car with a minigun on the roof, an APC, a dune buggy with your choice of a 40mm grenade launcher, lmg or minigun on it. A rocket propelled bike that glides, shoots rockets and has a minigun built in somewhere. A half track with an anti air turret on it. An anti air trailer that can be towed by another vehicle.
Guns: Mark 2 variants of some basic weapons that boast better stats than the originals and can accept new ammunition types.
Unnaground bunker; Place where your employees either build weapons that you can sell off for a profit in these surprisingly fun missions (one of them is delivering packages in the mountains in a monster truck chevy el camino), or research shit like weapons and armor upgrades for your guns and vehicles, camo patterns and ammo types, plus the new "heavy armor suit" that you can get airdropped. Doing either or both of these things though you need to routinely go out and steal supplies or buy them.

All I remember off the top of my head, it's been a decent way to make money too I suppose, I do it alongside sourcing cars from the import/export update since there's likewise no buy-in, it's free money if you choose to steal supplies.

Reddit has done research that says that you only get 300k/hour or someshit with a fully upgraded bunker. So that's spending nearly 2million to make more money in upgrades,1-2 million for the bunker, and another 1-2 million for the MOC cause you need that to fucking upgrade the vehicles. Gives you about 500k per hour with crates and a fully upgraded bunker. Takes you about 10 hours to fill a large warehouse for 2 million. For spending 6 million just to get even STARTED on using the vehicles will run you THIRTY. HOURS. 30 HOURS TO EVEN GET INTO THE GAMES CONTENT. Spending time to spend your time faster in a sense. GTA online is the biggest waste of time for the most tedious and underwhelming bullshit that many times is made irrelevant or is just something trivial, such as most of the vehicles in this update,literally any cosmetics, or the game in general. At the end it'll take you 8-12 hours to make back your money, or in otherwords, buy a vehicle and upgrade it. AND THAT'S NOT EVEN THE TIME SPENT OF RESEARCH. Anyone who seriously plays GTA Online is a fucking dope who can't find better ways to waste their time.

I'd agree wholeheartedly if modders giving free money wasn't a thing. When they do I spend it all on cars, and I just drive them around listening to my own music. Other times I'll dress up like an operator and do missions that pay shit but are still fun, like the Gerald or Martin missions. I'll only use the game's features and missions to make money if I'm desperate and only really take interest if I'm just handed the money by modders to dick around with.

So good thing the whole "banning mods" thing isn't actually doing anything about modders, means I'll still be able to dick around with fuck you money.

So I use GTA 5 as a driving/operating simulator because it can do both of those things well as long as you have the money, when the money runs out, oh well, I'll find another game to waste my time on doing the exact same things. Hopefully Rockstar will realize this and un-fuck themselves by either making shit affordable or increasing payouts for jobs and product.

Stick with it, fuck around for a while and get to know the feel and how everything controls (Arma games have a very unique feel that takes getting used to)

If you can run it decently well and get a handle of the controls, then it's probably one of the most versatile and endlessly fun shooters out and will only get better with time (Arma 2 OA fully modded at the end of its lifespan was some of the best gaming experiences I've ever had).

Anyone else tried World of Guns Disassembly? Its pretty neat but idk how accurate it is bc I'm new to real guns.

As for the people talking about GTA 5; I've played that piece of crap online for over a year now and it's unplayable without illegitimately obtained money and lots of it. The exchange rate for real world money to GTA$ is horrible and entry level payouts are trash.
Even I know its gun tech is bad, the AK is directly inferior to virtually every rifle in that game, there's like 10 pistols but only 3 matter: AP (automatic pistol), revolver and heavy pistol which blows the other general purpose handguns out of the water in damage and mag size. Shotguns are trash tier unless you're doing drive-bys on a motorcycle. And almost every fight devolves into using a sniper rifle and spamming "adad".

What can you do in that fucking game that isn't just to buy more expensive shit? You could get a gun but there's obviously a gun better than another one and you can buy the best one of them all out of the box.

A car? what's the point of spending so much money for a car 2 mph faster. Literally the free elegy can do the fucking job for free.

If the game enforced stricter RP rules like not owning a vehicle you steal it would give people more of a reason to buy a shitbox or similar.

Thanks god for FiveM. But by the point it actually became available after its original take down by take-two i had already uninstalled GTA online.
