Bro don't be stupid. They're asking if you're getting high while filling out the form. Were you ripping the bong while filling it out?

This series should explain how they work.

As long as you remember the four rules, you should be fine.

>don't point the muzzle at anything you don't want dead
>keep your finger off of the trigger unless you intend to fire
>know what's behind your target
>shit, there's four of these
>make up something quick
>uh, the gun is always loaded
>fuck it, good enough
>>
>>31174433
I got a degree in firearms management. AMA.
>>
>>31174433
It'd be better if you took those classes irl, esp if they let you go shoot once you've learned the basics

close pistol shooting for me is more point n click. you have to push out like 15-20 yds to actually use a six oclock or pumpkin on post
>>
>>31174285
It is unlikely that you will be engaging at those distances for self defense and if you are expecting to be engaging at a distance, bring a rifle.

Would it be possible to create a military task force like the GDI? Not the retarded UNPROFOR bullshit, but an actual military. And if so what should their equipment be? Small Arms, Vehicles, Aircraft, Camouflage pattern, ect.

You might want to define their strategic role first.

It could be possible to set it up.
The USA could, for exemple, start recruiting in NATO countries rather than just hiring americans.
This could be done for a number of reasons but I can already see three :

1) Mercenaries dying is politically acceptable while us citizens dying is less acceptable. This was basically the idea behind the complete overhaul of the Iraki army.

2) As we know, the overhaul of the Iraki army failed spectaculary because local soldiers deserted at the first opportunity for a whole lot of reasons. Some even joined ISIS... or simply sold their equipment to ISIS.
So the USA might want to have an actual direct control over its future foreign auxiliaries and, for this reason, they would recruit directly rather than simply "helping our allies build their own army".

3) Salaries are a huge chunk of the US Army budget. So having bulgarian infantrymen rather than americans might lower this by a fair bit... and still make for very motivated bulgarians, since they would be far better paid than if they had signed in the bulgarian army. This could be made even more attractive by the prospect of a green card at the end of your service.

Now, that would be step one. The navy and airforce would still be 100% american while the boots would be far less so.

Now, the other countries might object to this but, if they have high unemployment and the recruits have families at home, they might see a benefit in accepting this.

Because Ruger owns the rights to them and there's no competition, so the same forces that made ARs become cheap can't apply.

covers the cost of keeping Bill Ruger on life support long enough so he can shit out the actual receivers of the guns.

Im currently nogunz(but have alot of shooting time with various funz) but Im looking to buy a decent 5.56 rifle(in Commifornia btw) So I really only have one question:
Ruger or AR? I see the rugers are cheaper and i really like the action, so anyone have any advice about which I should buy?
53 posts and 6 images submitted.
>>
>>31173826
AR15 if you're a nogunz. It's the one "baseline" semi auto rifle in this day and age that you should own at least one of and learn to shoot so you can make a good comparison with any other rifle you will ever shoot.
>>
>>31173826
ar15 market should be cheap but since were so close to election don't know how the market currently is.

Its weird to see Ak and Ars do a reversal.

AR15s are so cheap now a days. Markets saturated. Again elections may have raised prices lessened availability

So /k/, if you were to use an actual silver bullet, not just lead with a silver jacket, what would the gun barrel be made of so you could consistently shoot silver without wearing the barrel down quickly? Also, what weapons would /k/ use for monster killing? Maybe a silver container holding holy water shot out of a low brass shotgun?

Final question, would silver be effective for at least wounding a skinwalker

So, i just inherited a lathe and a milling machine, along with a bunch of tools.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy non-functioning or broken guns and repair them rather than buy them new? would gunshops sell broken guns if asked?

I'm really hoping we get some decent videos/documentaries about the Queen Elizabeth class automation.
I've only heard a little about it but apparently the space where it takes place is about the size of a frigate and it's like watching an automated factory in motion
