There are people on /k/ RIGHT NOW who think Russia wasn't involved in WWI.

My memory is a bit hazy. Was this when Einstein used a time machine to assasinate Hitler before he rose to power and everything was actually Kane's plan all along?
OK /k/ I have a question.
If you were in a bad firefight and after 5 or so mags, your weapon was overheating. Could you pour your canteen down/over the barrel? Would that damage your weapon? Would it help?
>>31195295
You keep firing, because your rifle is a Sako brand AK variant that can take the overheating. Not some plastic toy like the G36.
Yes, it would help.
>>31195295
Depends on the firefight.
In a near contact situation such as an urbanized area, your rate of fire will probably be higher and thus overheating becomes a possible issue.
In a far contact situation, such as a mountain engagement at 150, 250, 300, maybe more, the number of rounds needed for suppression goes down because you have the opportunity to take slower and more precise shots, even just to suppress.
If your weapon overheated to the point of becoming dangerous to operate or in danger of a catastrophic failure, water could indeed cool it off and I'm doubting you'd be too worried about the damage it could cause. The most important situation is the one you're currently in.
It wouldn't hurt your gun severely. But depending on how you're fixed for liquid, it could hurt you.
Can any nation, before or after, top pic related for:
>discipline
>morale
>esprit de corps
>loyalty to their fatherland
>snazzy uniforms
>>31195245
Extremely poor tactics. Then again, even the Brits and Americans shared that sad logic during the Revolutionary war.
A shout out to the green hats though. They did some sniper work from the tree line.
>>31195245
>devotion to firing a shot every 20 seconds meant up to 1/3 the force would just prime the pan and at most load a powder charge to have their gun up in time to give the impression of "muh prussian discipliaru!"
lind go home. prussia doesn't exist
>>31195301
>actually trying to take volley fire to it's limit, creating a drill for that exact purpose, and executing it.
>not disciplined
>prussia doesn't exist
lol
>lind go home.
nice strawman faggot.
So say I'm innawoods and a bear rolls up. I draw pic related and dump 6 rounds of .44 magnum into Mr. Grizzlefuck. Do I now have permanent hearing damage?
I've always wondered about this. I carry a lot of .357 but I've never had to shoot anyone or any animals. I've shot .38 target shit without earpro but I'm pretty sure 5 rounds of heavy ass self defense loads is gonna make me deaf.
Also, should I buy pic related? I know some people hate on new smiths but I like mine. If I get this fucker it matches with the model 60 and 627 with the faggot barrel design.
Wear electronic earpro that not only lets you hear things below 85db but actively enhances low noises
>>31195186
I've thought about doing that if some shit actually went down but thats not the question. Niggas aren't walking around the woods hiking with earpro.
Its great that you kill the bear and didnt get mauled in the anus and all but now are you permanently deaf? Do people in self defense shootings end up with a lot of hearing loss? Especially fucks like me that only have shotguns, AKs, and revolvers.
dump 147 grain 9mm fmj into its brain. huge revolvers are a meme.
No autistic sword debate or wound channels talk today, thing humble fa/tg/uy needs your help.
I'm making a random generator, and I need one-line quirk or detail bits for modern operators/mercenaries.

Has the most gigantic optic on his weapon, practically a 3 inch glass disk on each end, and appears to use it gleefully.
Has a breaching shotgun in a scabbard on the left side of his pack.
Has a syringe full of heroin tucked behind his ear.

Why are there no pictures of the independence with the 30mm guns attached?
Has anyone here had any success with getting liberals to convert to a pro-gun stance without necessarily the other right wing stuff that comes with it? Because DESU when the Shillary gets elected (which at this point im convinced she will) and screws the pooch, i'd rather not have bubba from nowheresville, rectanglestate come and just murder my nonwhite/liberal friends because of miss reptile

take them shooting
>>31194944
too bad im currently a poorfag and i just have my 10/22 and a 12 gauge
>>31195037
10/22's perfect for a clueless hoplophobe who thinks that guns are totems of death magic
the idea is to decouple "guns" from "murder" in their tiny leftist brains and reposition shooting as a recreational activity that a sane, law-abiding person can enjoy

Is there a real life equivalent of Killing Floor 2's HX25 grenade pistol?
The weirdest thing about it to me is the round it fires, it's like a scatter of smaller explosives. Does such a thing exist?
>>31194789
HK-69 is close, but obviously it's a fictional weapon.
There are those "Hornet nest" 40mm cartridges that fire like a dozen or two .22lr bullets at once, but obviously that's not quite the same. Maybe you could have bunch of miniature 9mm warheads (or dum-dum rounds?) fire out of similar pack ? No idea.
it's just an underbarrel without a mount.
or this
I'm feeling generous. I nicked this from my Regimental museum the day I left. Printed 1972.
Want some pages from it?
>I nicked this
Kill yourself.
No thanks

Fucking thief
Personally Ive always preferred hammer because of aesthetics. I actually sort of like having a high bore axis too but Im considering adding a striker to my collection. The Glock 19 and Walter PPQ are supposed to be best on the market but that little trigger safety looks like it would bother me.
>>31194682
rather P30 based off of the USP and thus is nicer, granted the VP9 is nice
>>31194682
If you ND with only a trigger safety, I've got bad news for you: you were going to ND even if you had a grip, magazine, and manual safety.
I've got a G23, and it's one of the only guns I absolutely refuse to sell even if my life depends on it.
>>31195063
>P30
>nicer than the USP
>>31194682
>Glock 19 and Walter PPQ are supposed to be best on the market but that little trigger safety looks like it would bother me.
Literally
LITERALLY
P320. And that isn't even accounting the "high bore axis" because it isn't even that high but definately consider the P320C.
I assume some of you play computer games? Do you play Red Orchestra 2 / Rising Storm? What are your thoughts and opinions on said game?
>>31194665
>I assume some of you play computer games?
Computer games are for children.
>>31194665
Red Orchestra 2 is a casual, run and gun shitfest. I prefer mature games for mature gamers like myself. Games like Squad, Arma and Combat Mission.
Everybody is now playing the We Wuz British Soldiers Simulator.
Help me k, some stranger just tried to take my knife off me
>be inna dmv to get record for new job

is standing on chair next to me
>literally stomping as loud as it can and babble at top of lungs

>it seriously goes for it again
>slide it to another side of waist band

Halp, wat do
Hook him in the gabber, say he reached for your weapon and you acted in self defence.
Just go sit somewhere else.
>>31194418
Everything about this screams bait, because it's autistic as fuck to OC that knife. But those look like the chairs at the DMV. Very conflicted...
When it comes to military grade Trucks, what are the best examples out there?
What truck do you want when you're given a goddamn tank and told to transport it hundred of miles over heavy terrain?
>>31194369
A train.
>>31194689
>Blow a single hole at any point in the hundred of miles of track and you can make entire train lines useless for weeks at a time
kek?
>>31194713
Why would you blow a hole in the train tracks you're using to transport your vehicles? Makes no sense.
