How would you anons react if you were caught in a flash mob attack? Would you turn and run or stand your ground?
>>31196597
Kinda vague but evading would be my priority and standing ground would be only if running is not an option. I'm in Florida so I'm pretty sure I don't even have to try to evade law-wise.
>>31196597
>flash mob attack
You mean like a choreographed ambush?
>>31196597
It depends on how many basketball americans I'm dealing with. A handful? Sure, I'll stand my ground. But a fucking stampede of them? I'll make a tactical retreat and nope the fuck out of there. They don't exactly value their own lives, they're probably less susceptible to intimidation.
Hey /k/, how possible would a group like "Los Pepe's" be in modern day Mexico to combat the cartels?
There was the auto defensas but they were extremely amateur where as these cunts were anti communist paramilitaries that actually oper8d.
Also general vigilante/narcos thread.
>>31196476
>Los Pepe's
No one cares about mexico it has been a shit hole for 500 years and it will remain so forever
>>31196476
Nigga, half of "Los Pepes" were rival drug dealers. The Castano brothers were deep in the coke trade.
The wehraboo in me wants one of these rifles.
While I do want an original numbers matching one, I'm fine with getting a Russian capture as well. I do want a German made one though.
How much should I expect to pay for it?
Too much.
If you want one for under $1200 you need to go back in time at least 15 years.
And they're all German made. If it's a K98k, it was made by Germany. You clearly need more researching in this subject or you're going to get ripped off.

I know that yugo mausers exist
i recently started tube chattahoochee river and got to thinking am vulnerable while there stuck in a tube no weapon no phone etc. what would be good waterproof weapon for self defence while tubbing? the river goes close to atlanta so never know when gangshoods etc hanging out fishing on the banks may throw rocks or shout out at you or whatever. would be nice to have a gin visible or if anyone looks trouble to get it out and show them so they know to back off. i am worry about rust easily since a wet enviroment
>>31196414
>someone might yell at me from shore
>wants to brandish a gun
Nigga just keep floating. Hood rats fish as much as Charlie surfs, and my friend "Charlie don't surf!"
>>31196437

Stop posting these threads, they weren't funny the last times and it's not funny this time either.
>"debating" anti-gun friend
>he brings up the example of one guy who had headphones in, went to pull his trousers up, and got shot by a cop
>says that cops in the US have to be trigger happy in case of someone having a gun
>therefore carrying guns should be illegal
How do you counter this?
My arguments went something like
-Not putting responsibility on the cop is victim blaming
-Plenty of other countries have fairly high levels of guns and they have low police brutality
-Level of police training in the US could be greatly improved
-Attacks on cops are at their lowest point for decades so cops are reacting to a threat that isn't there
Have there been any studies looking at open/concealed carry with regards to police brutality and unnecessary killings by police?

>"debating" anti-gun friend
after every sentence tip your fedora you fuck stain
Tell him he should be in prison just in case he murders someone. Because, ya know, uh, he might.
Also: "yeah, except that it's NOT illegal."
The bolt on my Remington 50 won't close, and I think the problem is that the cap on the bolt is twisted around, stopping the bolt from moving
Pls help /k/

Hit it with a hammer.
Can anyone not awnser this question?
>>31196409
Hit it with a hammer.
I'm looking to buy a shotgun. I'm thinking Mossberg, but what length/capacity should I go with? Maybe a crusier, or a full-length 590...? I mostly just wanna keep it stashed away for WW3, maybe take it to a range sometimes to shoot skeet. Maybe hunt turkey.
And don't tell me "mossberg is garbage you fucking retard!!!1!!" I don't wanna hear that kind of stuff.
I'd like to keep it around $500 CAD or less, new or used is fine.
Go for a 590A1, that way you can have a spear that fires shotshells.
More importantly
Plastic or Wood?
Had a chick named Rhodesia come into my work today so in her honor lets have a Rhodesia thread.

You work at a KFC or Popeyes I take it?
Just got a 92FS. Are there any grip/rail systems with thinner grips? Pic related looks cool but it's the same thickness as the regular grips, and I'd like to go a little thinner if possible.
>>31196207
Ernest Langdon and VZ Grips are both making some ultra thin 92 grips. Not sure if they're out yet but something to keep in mind.
Also it's a different gun but the Vertec Berettas have thinner grips.
Don't put that fucking abomination on your beautiful Beretta. What the fuck is wrong with you?

How else can I mount a flashlight for clearing my home?
Any of you guys got DDI 12s. I went shooting the other day with my dads mossberg 500, and to my surprise I actually enjoyed it. I've shot 12 gauge in the past, but never like since I didn't know how shoulder it properly. Now I'm in the market for one. So is a DDI 12 a reliable gun? I hear they don't like bird shot, and I want to do trap shooting.
VEPR12 is a lot better, DDI has iffy quality with alot of their shit especially this.
Whats the best Canada legal, mag fed semi auto shotgun?
>>31196159
Don't know much about DDI, but I can confirm VEPR12s are the current standard on which box fed semi auto shotties are judged. They'll eat pretty much anything without having to "break it in" with heavy power loads like saiga, and there are plenty of parts available for them. Thing is though, they are heavy guns, if you want to shoot a lot of trap/skeet, you may want to look at other options for more comfort for extended shooting sessions.
Double check your range's rules as well. Some fuddy trap ranges won't even let you use the guns, or require your barrel to be at least 20" or more longer.
better armor than 90% of tanks nowadays, better mobility, better pen ratio than an abrams, i could go on for hours about this. try to find 1 decent reason why the abrams is better, americfats
the amount of stupid in your post is on a level apart from the normal utterances of mentally retarded individuals incapable of writing their own name it falls to a level of substandard trolling, so here is your (you)

i mean, he should get some credit for thinking out some new bait, even though its at an all-time low level.

>better pen ratio than an abrams,
Is that from a game?
Rogue military and law enforcement, cartels, and radical militias would be the ruling regional powers of your shit area. They would either kill and rape your entire family or force you to pay tribute.
>b-but my BOB that I skipped my mortgage/rent to pay for!

In most scenarios the vast majority of the population is still likely to survive. Even in the worst case scenarios a respectable percentage would still survive.
Why shouldn't anon expect that he might reasonably be part of that group of survivors? Why shouldn't he anon expect that if he prepares better than those around him that his odds of survival would increase a good deal?
>implying they can deal with lone wolves when all of their vital infrastructure has gone down
say you drop a couple members of their group and bug out. theyll spend time trying to find out who the fuck did it and most likely torture/accuse innocent people of doing it because nobody has any clue who actually did it. there are no ruling powers when people are starving in the streets. maybe extremely small scale neighborhood warlords pop up. but then they get whacked by another group and it keeps happening until enough people die in an area to make it sustainable without relying on the destroyed infrastructure of the past.
>>31195920
Because /k/ is the most inept and misinformed part of the internet when it comes to firearms or combat and wouldn't know what to actually do to survive if you branded it on their wife's boyfriend's ass.
Greetings /k/...
I'm torn... I am in desperate need of money. I really don't want to have to resort to selling my guns, but I don't know what else to do.
I have a beautiful un-bubba'd 1896 Krag Jorgensen with all matching serials, and a bayonet. I have an all matching 1943 BCD Kar98k(With no import mark that I can find), a battle worn M1 Garand with most numbers pointing to the right date. It's also a <1mil serial number. There's also the 1888 Commission Rifle that was modified by the Turkish Army, so I don't think that one would be worth much.
If worse does come to worse, how much do you think those would all be worth together?
bout tree fiddy
>>31195781
>>31195768
Bumping. Can't find much on the 1896 in gunbroker. I bought it for $700 in 2013.
If you landed a job in NYC, would you smuggle in a firearm, to keep in your apartment? Since firearms are illegal there, would you be willing to break the law in this scenario?

Why do we still use fighters with cockpits covered in thin transparent canopies instead of more armored cockpits that provide views outside via cameras?

Cause that sounds like a recipe for motion sickness.

Cost and weight.
