How does the impact force compare to a FGM-148 Javelin warhead?
>>31184870
No. Poorly.
Weapon A is designed to blow up armor, weapon B is designed to fuck up personnel. There's very little overlap.
>>31184870
A 60mm mortar round holds very little explosives and unlike the Javelin does not have a shaped charge. It wouldn't do anything against a tank. If you get lucky you could knock out some optics I guess.
Do all military veterans get into Valhalla?
>>31184841
Entrance to Valhalla was only allowed for the absolute greatest warriors, who killed without mercy and didn't even flinch in the face of absolute certain death (For real, you had to be like smiling and shit when you died). You also had to die in battle.
So no, not really.
>>31184859
Well that sucks
>>31184859
Same poster
Should also be noted that while Valhalla was for the most part a welcome afterlife it was not actually a reward. The inhabitants became part of Odin's ghost army. Destined to fight and fail during Ragnarok.
The greatest and bravest warriors (not the best, most honorable, or most noble people) where plucked from the battlefield by the Valkyrie.
But seriously, it wasn't warrior/white power heaven. It was something similar to an eternal military posting with great benefits. You where still conscripted like it or not. And you where still going to super die fighting giants and wolves and lava monsters and shit beside your god at the end of the world.
So the gun community now has an official whiskey. Is it any good?
>>31184739
>Is it any good?
no
>gimmick #504 brand whiskey
there are so many whiskeys, vodkas, and gins that they all have some shit-eating name and bottle so people notice them. It's never worth the asking price no matter what the PR story tells you.
>>31184739
>just bourbon whiskey
>not Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey
>not even calling straight bourbon whiskey
So it hasn't spent at least two years aging in oak barrels, it probably has added flavoring or color, and is in all likelihood cut with Everclear. Yeah no I'll keep buying Buffalo Trace.

Here's the deal.
Normal people, won't interact with you. Because they are normal, they won't do anything strange or insane or really anything to draw your attention.
So who will you interact with? The crazy people of course.

Can someone explain this new meme to me for fuck sakes!
Why did pic related fail and what can we do to make it better?
Pros
>large high speed projectiles with low recoil
>low weight guns needed to handle relatively small pressure
>generally higher ammo capacity
>possible to make specialized rounds
>shoots missiles instead of bullets
>is way cooler than whatever gun you're holding
>>31183803
>non-removable magazine
>projectile that is not most effective at very short range
>13mm more difficult for civilian acquisition
I'd say these are the biggest factors. Feel free to debate me, but the thing killed itself
>
>>31183826
The concept is so cool though. Bullets that accelerate until impact? Can weigh arguably half of a traditional gun in the same caliber? Simpler mechanics in the gun means less prone to failure as well. Can't get a FTE if there's nothing to E.
How hard do you think it would be to revive and modernize the concept? There could be some use yet left in the Gyrojet.
so eric from iv8888 was complaining about his wife's son giving more importance to how a gun looks rather than how it performs, what's your take on it?
>>31183734
2 to 3 guns should just be adopted for perfomrence
something like an AR 15, Mossberg 500 & Glock 19
everything above can be just for fun and jiggles like looks and stuff
something like an UZI carbine or M1 Garand

How do I fix this shit?
I don't mind it normally but I have a Cowitnessed red dot and it bothers the shit out of me that it's not centered.
Do I just smack the ever loving fuck out of it to one side?(probably not gonna be this)

Aw shit. Now my phone is having a canting problem of its own
>>31183684
It is pinned in place after it is press fit to the barrel. You would have to press out the old pin then align it properly, press it back on then drill the hole again slightly oversized for an oversized pin. You might also have to un pin and press off the FSB and gas block just so you could access the and press off the RSB. It would be a lot of work to just to satisfy your autism about it being centered. It would probably cost a couple hundred at a gunsmith to have him do it, you could do it for less yourself but it isnt going to be easy

gun life in japan
>We keep our guns and ammo in our house. We keep them in different lockers in different rooms. We need to experience shotguns for 10 years before rifles. Every single year we go to a police office with our guns and take an interview by an officer. Every 3 years we go to a psychological doctor to take a paper which assures we are psychologically normal. Every 3 years we have half day lectures, one by an officer and the other by a government animal control section. Every 3 years we need to pass shooting tests. Every 3 year a police officer visits our house to check how we keep our guns and ammo. And every 3 years we need 8 people, 2 neighbors, 2 hunting friends, 2 co-workers, and 2 casual friends who assure we are a good person. An officer phones to them actually.

Why do you live in one of the worst countries on earth?
>>31183254
What you got senpai
>>31183271
This. Do you guys get cool shit that nobody else has?
>walk around the house continually and randomly open cabinets and the fridge >randomly pick some of my video games I have then only play them for like a few minute then instantly become bored so I take the game out and before selecting a new game I end up looking over all my games and even my digital downloaded games for an hour then just turn my system off because bored >go through my movie collection and on netflix just to end up bored again so I just look at each cover art of each movies before turning the TV off >make random noises and sounds around my house and end up even hitting a few things around the house with utensils but not hard enough to break anything
>take very long baths and wash my body and hair three times and drink the bath water but just a little bit and only when it is clean and warm before bathing >chew on pencils and bite down on some of my knifes and wood
>lay in bed for a very long time and then get up and just walk around again
>if I have cooked steak but it is in the fridge I take it out and just chew it and eat it without utensils or plate
>masturbate a few times in one day or just masturbate for a few hours before cumming (I'm thinking about not doing it for a while because it is starting to hurt now)
>talk to myself and even make some conversations with my own self and oretend there are other personalities of me so I have some interesting topics that I like to talk about
>pick up my cat and sometimes bite him but not enough to actually hurt him or cut through his skin but just a bit to hear him meow which is so cute and adorable then I let go and hug him and snuggle because my cat is very innocent and cute also it somewhat satisfies my biting but I don't ever hurt my cat nor abuse him since I feed him and pet him and love him every single day
>listen to random music just to fill the empty void in my head and even stare myself in the mirror and pretend that I'm looking at another person
So what do you guys do when your alone?

What is the best IFV in your opinion? And why?
http://www.military-today.com/apc/top_10_infantry_fighting_vehicles.htm
I'm with the list, and would have to say either the Puma or CV90.
>>31182773
No idea, the Puma is probably a better vehicle all around, but its also alot more expensive (something like twice the cost?).
I love the CV90. I'm in the swedish army as mechanized infantry so i ride with them bad boys. I don't really have anything to compare it to, but i can say from personal experience it's a fucking beast. 40mm autocannon, 7.62 coax and 7 soldiers riding in the back, what's not to love?
>>31182773
The Puma is objectively the best it's just really expensive.
