Not sure what's going on, but it's a pretty overrated gun. Without full auto or short barrel, you just have a weird looking range toy with a relatively heavy trigger.

They stopped making them because no one wanted to buy them because they look stupid with the long barrel

Have any reason why they would? I've not shot one, but have always been curious, I haven't heard enough good about them for me to make the effort to change that.

Except eventually I have a few, but I'm missing 1 or 2, and it bothers me to the point that I don't want to post collection pics on /k/ until I get that next gat. Like, for the longest time, I had a Krag, a 1903a3, a 1917, an M1, an M1 carbine, an A1 clone, an A4 clone, a S&W M10, and a 1911, but the lack of the M1A GI bugged the hell out of me that I didn't want to take collection pics until it was filled. The lack of Beretta 92 and 1903a1 or the obscurer Navy rifles also bug me. And the lack of BAR/M1941/Reising. Oddly, the Thompson does nothing for me, though.

Same for Grossdeutschland...Gew98, K98az, K98k, G43, MG34, FG42, LP08, P1. The lack of G3, P38, and Gew/Kar88 kill me. And when those are gotten, itll be the 1871.
