Either a PRO for right at the limit of your budget, or a Primary Arms MD ADS with a tango down cover and a decent mount.

Anyone got any more rail suggestions?
I'm looking for a 10.5"-12" Keymod rail. Hopefully pretty light, and under $200.

Will 10.5" be enough to cover my mid length gas block? Is it okay to mount a light that far back from the muzzle or does the barrel case a shadow?

Right now I'm really liking the Midwest Industries Keymod G3 lightweight rail in 10.5"

I don't even own any supersonic ammo for it. There's tons of better options, specifically 308 and my 75 gr OTM 5.56 NATO hand loads that carry better, faster, and dump more energy for hunting.

I just see it as a nice suppressor host for being really quiet. And with a 7.62 silencer already on Form 4 for my 308 and 300WM, it felt like I need to have a 300 blk SBR.

Yeah, I don't plan to hunt with, it's nowhere near powerful enough for an ethical kill.

Though once AAC releases all the parts I need to silence my 9mm AR, I'll probably be shooting that a lot more.

300 blk isn't cheap, and it seems like they charge a premium for subs.

If I had a can I might care about subsonic, but I bought the barrel and just swap back and forth for hunting season. I won't have a shot over 200 yards, and I really like the Barnes 110gr bullets, along with Sierra's 125gr bullets.

M16A3s were full auto A2s with fixed carry handles. My build has more in common with an A2 than an A4 so I call it a faux A2.

But it has a rattlecanned SS HBAR under the hood for chrissakes. It will never be an authentic A-anything and I'm not pretending it is.

The bullets use about twice the material (lead is getting expensive), they're typically match or match-style bullets (rear-drawn jackets require more expensive swagers than front-drawn jackets, plus extra QC), and they're produced in smaller quantities (economy of scale).
They're more expensive for a reason.

>advertized as cases of 1000, 10x50ct boxes. Receive ziploc bags of loose rounds inside 3 USPS flat-rate mailers inside a humongous UPS box
So I take photos of everything and send an email complaint. No response. So I call, get hung up on 10x a day for a week. So I file a charge dispute with my CC company, who refunds the money after a 60 day wait (supposedly to attempt arbitration with FM, who never responded to them either). A week later I get a knock on the door from local sheriff serving a warrant, they pressed fraud charges. Still have all the shit because it's literally unsafe to shoot, show him the ammo, the emails to FM, the photos I took, the emails to CC company, the resolution from CC company which they snail-mailed me, and he apologizes and says he has to serve the warrant anyway, gives me notice to appear instead of arresting me. Appear before judge, show him all the shit, charges dropped. Get sued. 9 month legal battle, settle OOC for lawyer fees and a thousand bux, sign 1-year NDA (which I broke immediately).

Two kinds of wolf through two barrels at 50 yards with 4x optic...thats like 6 or 7 moa
>>
>>31393917
I stopped using wolf 9mm once I determined that like 2/3 of my mags won't even feed the stuff for some reason.
>>
>>31393931
That's some bullshit. I can't stand guns that don't like cheap ammo.
>>
>>31393917
I will say that from an aspect unrelated to its accuracy I'd avoid Military classic.
>the cases are completely uncoated
>they come with a graphite-like powder all over fucking everything (including the little plastic holder in the box), but not enough to serve as a lubricant or corrosion inhibitor
They rust like almost instantly and that powdery shit gums up the gun in just a few rounds, plus makes everything filthy.

Rifles I normally only clean every 600-700 rounds and never foul up enough to have a stoppage with any other ammo will experience fouling-related stoppages in 150rds of WMC. 100 rounds and the bolt's literally plowing ribbons of carbon and unburnt powder out of the star chamber, even when bone dry.

You don't know how to measure a grouping. That is easily under .5" grouping and probably 1/4". 4/5 shots are through the same hole. . .

7.5"@100 group guy here.
Barrel is a Lothar Walther unlined CMV match barrel.

I get similar results through my Colt CHF/CL 1:7 and my Bartlein stainless cut-rifled 1:8 (usually shoots about a half inch tighter, so ~7" 10-shot groups with Wolf).

Dad has a Hart 1:7 that can't keep it under 10" and a Kreiger 1:7.7 that shoots to around 7" as well.

Dude, it's fucked up.
Sunday it died on me after getting take-out. Wouldn't start at all and thankfully my uncle came to tow it home. My dad suggested we start with distributor cap & rotor, since this has happened before.

Put on the new cap and rotor and she fired right up and ran..... for about 50 seconds. Now it's back to nothing. We started poking around and we're under the impression that it's not getting any fuel.

Also the fuel pressure sensor behind my throttle body makes this fucked up gerbi-like chittering noise when you turn the power on. My dad & uncle (who are long-time wrenchers) are seriously baffled.
>>
>>31394205
I use it for 3-gun hoser stages because it's actually decently reliable (I've got time to hose things down between stages), but when I'm done with the 5000rds I ordered I'm sticking to Wolf Gold. Which is actually good.

This is my second car after another previous gen 4runner, so I can only speak from that standpoint. It's a 1997, gen 3, with about 180,000 miles. Not fuel efficient in the least, (mid to low teens) but that's probably the tires and gearing. It is comfy, fits plenty of dudes and gear, which are what I want in a vehicle. It kicks ass on the freeway amazingly enough, and feels great to drive in town. Basically no complaints, paid 6K.

I've had that happen. was shooting with a brand new lower and I thought for sure it was the issue until i went to clean it and found a primer jammed all up by the trigger/safety selector. Made me feel much better knowing the lower was fine and the ammo was the issue. Was some Freedom munitions vmax I was shooting for the 1st time. Out of the 10 rounds I fired, 5 had blown out primers.
