Did FN stop making the PS90 or what? I called just about every gun store in Las Vegas and they all told me they haven't seen one in months. They are also very rare and overpriced online.

Any info?
>>
There were never a whole bunch here in the first place.

Give FN america a call though, they'll -probably- answer your questions
>>
There are a few places that have them online.
https://www.slickguns.com/search/apachesolr_search/ps90

Not sure what's going on, but it's a pretty overrated gun. Without full auto or short barrel, you just have a weird looking range toy with a relatively heavy trigger.
>>
They stopped making them because no one wanted to buy them because they look stupid with the long barrel
>>
if they put out a cheaper version in literally any typical chambering while at the height of the guns popularity they wouldve made like 50 trillion bucks
>>
>PS90s are rare online
>wut_no_way.png
>check gunbroke
>used to be dozens of listing for cheap
>few listings now for $1600+

Well then, that's news to me. I know FN produces guns in cycles. This has happened before, although the PS90 wasn't exactly a hot seller. In fact, I bought my NiB under dealer cost a couple years back. It's fully possible they've stopped making them for good this time, like the FS2000.
>>
>>31395657
>in literally any typical chambering
They can't make them in "any typical chambering" because of how the magazine works. It would have to be a short cartridge, and because of the way rounds feed into the chamber, the bullet needs a narrow, pointy tip or it won't feed, so 9mm and .45 acp are out.
>>
>>31395722
Id buy the fuck out of one in .17hmr
>>
>>31395747
Why? Cheapest I'm seeing .17HMR is $.20/rnd and it's rimfire. You can get 5.7 for around $.35/rnd and it's much better.
>>
>>31395772
Probably because only three guns or so are chambered in 5.7x28 and if any of those guns stop being produced, ammo is going to be a bitch to find.
>>
>>31395772
"It's much better"
>implying 5.7 isn't just a more expensive .22wmr that's center fire
>>
>>31395811
>implying centerfire isn't inherently much better than rimfire
>>
>>31395618

I think my local gun shop has one up for sale but the last time I saw the price tag it was $1550. My AR only ran me $1200. Plus I can get .223/5.56 almost anywhere.

It's a fun rifle to shoot. Very idiot proof when it comes to maintenance. The 50 round horizontal magazines are awesome too.

But the power/price of the 5.7 x 28mm round vs the power of other calibers available... I just need a lot of spare cash lying around or a damn good deal (say around $800) on one.
>>
>>31395660
I think the big issue right now is that F&N recently won a contract to supply all of the rifles for the Belgian army. I saw notices going out to distributors that this would affect civilian production as they dedicate the majority of their MFG'ing to fulfilling the military contract. SCARS in particular are apparently in majorly short supply.

I already have all the essentials covered. I just want a PS90 for an SBR project to go along with my Scorpion, and a 300 blk upper I plan on buying. Probably also going to SBS the VEPR12 at some point.
>>
>>31395976
why do you need so many guns

Two years ago was the time to buy a PS90. They were everywhere for dirt cheap.

Dang. Well.. there is always clearance sales. :)
>>
>>31395618

Did you try Lock and Load down in Henderson? They tend to have a lot of high end shit.
>>
>>31395618
Try Machine Gun Kelly's.
>>
>>31396030

They've been closed for years man, right after they moved into that warehouse near the airport. Always liked their big boxes full of ar and ak mags though, wish they were still around.
>>
>>31396043
Yeah, Kelly got busted for NFA weapons violations, taking people's money and never filing the transfer papers. I had a 10" mossberg I was waiting on for forever from him before I finally called the ATF and found out he'd never even registered it with them on a Form 1 in the first place, so I got my money back, did a 360, and walked away.
>>
>>31396066

Yeah, not worth the $6 mags.
>>
FN doesn't make guns for the US anymore. At east not for the civilian market, anyways.
>>
>>31395979
In case you're being serious,

How many pairs of shoes do you own? Probably a pair of tennis shoes, some dress shoes, a pair of sandals, and maybe even some boots.

That's four different types of shoes for different situations and times. The logic is no different for weapons. I own three different rifles and one handgun. Each of them has their strengths and weaknesses and like all tools, should be used in the proper time and place.

They're still making them.
But, for some bizarre reason, they've been retardedly popular this year and as such hard to get hold of.
>>
>>31395642
My SBR PS90 has a 4lb trigger. Bumpfires like a dream.
>>
>>31395811
>Has more velocity.
>Has a jacketed spitzer bullet.
>Is centerfire.
>Can be doublestacked easily.

If you ever thought "Gee, I want to carry .22WMR but I wish it was more reliable and had hicap mags) then you really ought to be looking at the Five Seven.

Or just go for 9mm because there's nothing wrong with that.

A pawn shop here has one for 800.00 bucks and it's been there almost a year. The ammo is just too expensive for a semi auto 22 magnum equivalent. I got the Aklys Defense stock from Sportsman Guide for 225.00, bought a ruger 10/22 for 200.00 and for 425.00 have a gun that looks just like a P90 but shoots 22LR. A P90 would be cool but only in full auto.
>>
>>31396209
you might not believe it, but that still wasn't an argument
try again
>>
>>31395618
Go to the Black Rifle Armory on Stephanie and Horizon Ridge or give them a call.

I'm pretty sure Martin will order you one if he doesn't have one in his store. He's a good dude.
>>
>>31396387
That's still heavy for a trigger.
>>
Same with the SCAR, they're between import cycles. Give it a few months.
>>
Check out the HTA 90/22.

It's a P90 stock for 10/22s (as you would have guessed).

Very high build quality.

The chambering is the reason the gun can even exist. The round was literally engineered for it.

>yfw cmmg doesn't release the 22lr conversion for the ps90
licensing issues was it?
>>
>>31397940
I know she can't ban guns but she can put through executive order import bans and people think she'll ban guns so that will drive prices up whether or not she can do anything

.22 WMR revolvers are underrated though. The heavier loads can meet FBI minimum penetration out of a 2" barrel with cylinder gap energy loss. You can also carry about 3 more rounds than a similarly sized .38 special.
>>
>>31395979
No one, but I only more than one video game for the same reason. Variety, style, and genre change
>>
>>31397980
I thought you said it was a PS90
>>
>>31395722
RIDF here.

Why not glorious 5.45x17? Tiny, but powerful pistol round for PSM pistol.
>>
>>31396016
the store I work in has one for $1100
>>
>>31398127
fix: 5.45x18

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5.45×18mm
>>
FN and Keltec make about 40 of each gun and that's all that's going to be on the market.
No SCARs in my city right now of either caliber.
>>
>>31397923
If you are that dedicated to getting one you had better get mags for it now, those things may go into unobtanium status due to political climate
>>
>>31397581

Nigger what? No.

Anon pls, any special snowflake round or gun is fucking impossible to get. Otherwise I'd have a vss vintorez
