Morning /k/omrades.
So, maybe many of you as me are sick of cheapo Baofengs and simmilar stuff. The problems with the programming, the wires, the connectors... I've sent to hell two of them already, so I am asking:
What's the next step for a reliable radio device? What do you fellow /k/omrades would use when SHTF? I need to have standard connectors of some sort to use them with earphones and microphones, and to be available in Europe if possible.
Thanks!

Prepare to drop at least $400 on a decent setup.

Thanks Anon. What model would you recommend me for something the size of a regular baofeng or a extended battery one?
Any ideas?
Personally, I would choose the right to bear arms, the right to privacy, and the right to due process. Perfect rights for starting a revolution if things get too bad.
>>31383507
Freedom of expression, right to bear arms, furry board on 4chan.
If there were a revolution going on do you really think the government would care about your three rights?

Hello my friends
Today, I have a question.
I'm 18 years old. I live in Colorado, Freedomland.
I don't have any felony charges. I was on probation for criminal littering in Arizona and probation for disturbing the peace in Colorado. The only thing that would interfere with my background check is a PPO (restraining order) from my ex's crazy 3 or 4 years ago, but they have since decided they're willing to negotiate it and it should be removed within 2 weeks.
I would like to purchase a handgun. To my understanding, I'm able to purchase a handgun from a private party and possess said handgun assuming I've purchased it legally.
Essentially, /k/, I'm asking: Can I cop a glocknade if I'm 18 with no open cases/background issues from a private party? If so, how do I make sure I don't get shot/arrested by a LEO if I'm OCing?
>pic unrelated
Who cares, private parties don't background check you. As for not getting shot by cops, try not waving your gun around in front of them and not threatening/pointing it at them.
>>31383479
Every private party I've ever talked to requested a background check. I'm not worried about passing it. I'm worried about being pulled over while I'm open carrying a pistol and I'm under 21.
>>31383479
Colorado requires state background checks through the FFL for transfers. Californians did this.
Have you given thanks to him today?
>>31383343
no he did not invent glorious roller delayed blow back
>>31383343
Just ordered a 1911. That's a way of giving thanks.
Very few men will go to war with a rifle their grandfather designed.
Been eyeing revolvers for some time now. Ruger just released a new gp100 talo, pic related. I like everything about it other than the unfluted cylinder. Thinking maybe just go with the regular gp100 six inch and add wood grip later if I really want it. What do you guys think?
how big is the clip
>>31383341
The pawn shop I work for has a gp100 for 600.
>>31383341
>I like everything about it other than the unfluted cylinder
You've outed yourself as a pleb.
/K/ringe thread? I'll start.
>>31383164
just about every General on /k/ is pretty good cringe material
>>31383164
Also replacing c's with /k/'s in words like you are writing mortal kombat fan fiction
>>31383164
How is that cringe, you fucking fagot
I was digging through an old image folder when I found this
What's the original context of this image? Google says 'rhodesian special forces' but they seem a little young to have been around when rhodesia was a thing
>>31383150
IIRC they're Blackwater around the time of the initial Iraq Invasion.
>>31383165
I thought Blackwater was deployed after the initial invasion? This looks like they pushed in with or before the first wave
that's gotta be weird when you're fighting iraqi regular army units and a bunch of blackwater on different comms channels joins in
>>31383201
They were hired muscle for CIA so they wouldn't normally be in contact with normal troops.
Would I be disappointed with one of these? How long would it take for the "itch" for rails and optics to completely overtake me, and make me regret the A2 configuration? I'm pretty broke right now (college/shitty job), so I won't be able to afford rails or sights yet, but later on I was planning on getting a set up similar to this
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vIw5z4-rpc
>pic related. not mine
Depends on how big a faggot you are. Railz and shit is retarded. You can get an optic adapter for the carry handle, IF you can deal with the height.
Goosenecks are ugly and dumb. You might as well keep the gun stock and have it be a dedicated irons gun. You could always add a rail and get a flashlight and foregrip though to have that OIF feel.
I would not suggest a carry handle mount unless you're going for pic related.
>>31383134
>optic adapter
I was looking at the goose-neck scout mount (like the one in that video), and would put a 4x optic or something on it.
Why do glocksuckers always bitch about the 1911 safety? If you don't like it, you could always just carry the gun with the safety off.
>But its not safe!
The 1911 grip safety is as safe as the Glock's "safe action" design, if not better.
>>31383040
Because 1911s have a low weight, low travel trigger and no firing pin block. They don't care about the safe action trigger. The real issue is that it's very easy to drop a single action with an accidental jerk. It's harder to do that with a glock.
Meh, I bitch about the price more than any safety.
>>31383040
The Glock was designed to be used by retarded cops who never train. Anyone can learn to flip off a safety, it's not rocket science. If you're too stupid/lazy to use a safety you're probably going to shoot yourself when you draw or holster your condition 1 1911 anyway.
Everyone would be better off if cops went back to using revolvers anyway.
Hello I was wondering what the best OWB holster is for a Glock 19, I heard someone say that you should have good retention because it's open carry. I would probably usually use it to wear under my coat to CC or open carry when I do it for shits and giggles
>>31382992
I'd get a Safariland. I'd get anything before I got a SERPA, like your pic related.
https://www.amazon.com/Safariland-7378-283-411-Concealment-Paddle-Holster/dp/B00G9UR7BU
>Safariland, so all the cops use it along with military contracts out the ass, lots of QC, made in Mexico/USA instead of China.
>smooth plastic doesn't scratch finish
>waterproof and heatproof
>thumb lock so you don't get Glock leg like with the SERPA and it's harder for random fucks to grab your gun
>Paddle actually bites onto your belt and locks in until you do the special wiggle in the instruction manual to pull it out
>also comes in models that hold weaponlights

Thanks I'll check it out
How do we make this into the next A-10?

>>31382980
Are you Pierre Sprey?
>>31383014
No. If I was I'd be whining about how this plane has too much useless junk in the cockpit that is irrelevant to combat.
Wow, that looks extremely uncomfortable
I know that Defense Distributed managed to get a functional plastic receiver and magazine for the AR-15, but what other parts could be made plastic without massively affecting performance?
>>31382940
Haven't you seen the media reports? Anyone can 3D print an entire gun at home.
Look at any modern polymer guns, they've already considered what's worth making plastic or not.
>>31382970
Pretty much this. We don't have the tech for plastic springs yet.
Anon from NY here, check out my weapons, guys.
Ny here also
Try using the hall way it's much more effective
Is this a gun hiding furniture thread?
>>31382829
You can't bash your enemies' heads in with a hallway though.
In a similar vein to a thread from yesterday, let's have a budgeted arsenal thread, with a slight twist. You have $2500 to spend on guns, but they are the only ones you will be able to own for the remainder of your life. Accessories, spare parts, and ammo do not count towards the limit, and unlimited (but with only 1 example of the gun total) spare parts/ammo can be purchased at today's rates for the rest of your life as well, allowing you to maintain those weapons indefinitely. All state and federal laws still apply, and there is no limit to the amount of guns purchased with the money.
What do you choose?
>>31382729
>$2.5k budget
>free service
Colt Python
One AK in 7.62x39 with a siderail to mount optics
One Glock pistol
Your set.
>>31382729
2.5k is pretty generous.
$1-1.1k for a PTR-91 or AK of some kind.
$300 for a Mossberg 500 combo, does pretty much everything you need a shotgun to do.
~$200-300 for a nice .22 rifle, I was able to get a CZ451 for $240 but it was used.
~$300 each for two pistols, one for CC and one for just range shooting. Or just ~$600 for a Glock 19 which can do both just fine.
Good PM
I am new, a Chinese friend is asking why YF-23 is more stealthy than YF-22 when YF-23 has no S-Ducts. It boggles my mind so there has to be a mistake in the RCS calculations because stealth = S-Ducts.
How can I convince my Chinese friend that YF-23 is not actually stealthy?
Don't worry he does not work for Lockheed.
>>31382693
There was 2 yf-23 prototypes made, grey ghost and black widow.
One had an s duct for rcs testing, the other a psudo s duct, because it was for weapon release testing. (Broadly speaking for both)
>>31382693
when he says something stupid again. Just give him 2 quarters and stare at him. Also have him take you out to dim sum and introduce you to some qts.
>>31382693
Those were technology demonstrators, basically their made with the sole purpose to see if the general shape is even airworthy. The, once the general design is finalized, that's when they start worrying about weapons, avionics and stealth. Design modern day fighters truly is a day at a time process.
