Even though I'm a Europoor, I will be able to get a handgun in a few months. The law allows to buy two handguns every 6 months, so I'm going to buy two, of which one will be a Luger(no hate pls). But the other one will actually be used for target shooting.
I love the H&K USP(P8) and I like the Glock 17(although I dislike the meme safety a lil). Apart from the target shooting, which gun does you Burgers prefer in a situation where a law abiding US citizen had to use his right to defend himself with one of those?
The price is not really a matter atm (although H&K is 200 monies more).
(Of course I would never use a gun for selfdefense, Hr. BKA-Mann)
the USP is more fun to shoot, and if you won't use it for anything but target practice and plinking it's pretty obvious
>>31387884
also was going to ask why wouldn't you use the luger for target shooting?
>>31387808
Owned both, now only own the H&K (4 in fact).
The H&K is a higher quality and performing gun, by a mile, but it's also a lot chunkier and lacks a convenient rail system, may feel uncomfortably large for some, and a lot of people whine about DA/SA now days.
Both are good guns though.
Only reason I would opt for the Glock is price, or you just like it more and shoot it better, or if you're stuck with a P8 since the P8 safety/decocker set up is terrible.
Is this the final death of Army Aviation? You'd think the army would have realized after the Osprey disaster with the Marines that this was a bad idea.

>Not realising that the V-22 has become safer than normal helicopters
Also the V-280 design eliminates a bunch of issues that the V-22 faced; things like having the engines stay still help a lot, as well as not torching the ground / deck
>Osprey
>disaster
Here is your (you).
>>31387511
>Not realising that the V-22 has become safer than normal helicopters
Bullshit. The fact that they are no longer crashing and murdering 20 marines in one go does not mean they are suitable for combat. The osprey is very poorly armed for its size, and has a pitiful payload for its size. The fact that the Osprey takes so long to take-off and land compared to a traditional helicopter makes it completely unsuitable for landing in a combat zone and the engines produce too much wind for Marines to safely fast rope down.
The Osprey also presents a huge target for the enemy. All the enemy has to do is hit one of the engines with an RPG while the damn thing is trying to land or take-off.

2 questions
>Could any nation build this plane today?
>Would any small nation find a role for it?
>>31387309
No, no.
>>31387334
Why could any nation with the money cant build it.? It was built on a drafting table in the 60's. Could it not be built today with a CAD software and a wind tunnel?
>>31387411
Not many nations can afford to buy one much less operate it/ So the argument is dumb.
Why is there never a hunting thread on this board? I feel like it's because everybody here is a noguns faggot. Let's talk about removing animal and eating delicious meat.
What kind of meat are we talking about? Had some deer jerky a while back, shit was good
>>31387240
Because they generally turn into look at my trophy circle jerks as opposed to the sharing of actual information.
That being said, what is everyone preferred caliber and gun for black bear?

is there a major difference between a $60 knife and a $180 knife?
>>31387196
Not really. You're pretty much like an apple fag. Spending your hard earn money on a name.
>>31387196
>is there a major difference between a $60 knife and a $180 knife?
Name
>>31387196
Guns, knives and so many other things are examples of diminishing returns. You're spending several times more, for a few percent "better" quality
not hunting.
Don't matter how it dies if it's dead kid.

Redpill me on the AK pistols /k/
I'm considering this:

Are they worth the money or not? Thanks for the answers.

where do you faggots come from?
>>31386835
I've browsed /k/ for years now. Regardless of terminology are they worth the money or not?
>>31386867
Yes. Fun little guns if you like huge fireballs. I have a Zastava M92 with a stabilizing brace and the things a blast.
They can also be advantageous if you live in a state that doesn't allow you to carry loaded rifles in cars, just loaded pistols. Then you have a "truck gun" that has a shitload of firepower in a small package, if that's your thing.
But keep in mind they're loud as fuck.
One of the best submachine guns of WW2
Also very fun to shoot
AR-15 is far superior weapons platform why do you even bother posting this gay crap

How many spare magazines is enough?
6 Rifle, 2 Pistol

French weapons are under appreciated lets show them some love WWI & WWII prefered
French guns you say?
That's basically my battery signal.
I really need some more french in my arsenal.
That's including another 49/56, but in the correct caliber.
308 is nice and easy to find, but the gun isn't exactly the same as the original before it's cut down a bit.
>>31386462
Bring your wallet, they're expensive these days.
Honestly, why do you guys even bother talking about any other "operators"? Name one SOF that even comes close.
SAS has a PERFECT track record. We train all your best "operators".
SEALs, Spetsnaz, delta force, JTF2, GSG-9, GIGN, and everyone else cries about it, but give me any reason to believe that they are even on the same level. Go ahead. Prove it.
