Have any of your pets been unintentionally /k/?
Mine just caught a pigeon and chewed his head off.
I never thought he'd be useful for a happening but I guess he could catch rats of we're desperate.
Post your battle buddies.

Here he is. In all his pigeon eating glory.
My black german shepherd savagely digs holes and chomps moles. Everyday he patrols/prowls through the yard with his ears up and nose down searching for moles. He's a big dog, even for his breed.

What the fuck Texas? Why was it so easy to buy a Glock 26?That redneck piece of shit that sold it didn't even require my ID or anything. And everybody wonders why school shootings are a thing
>ITT: OP admits to being a felon
Thank you. Your tip has been submitted.

Obviously this is bait and I pity the fool that can't tell.

>Why was it so easy to buy a Glock 26?
Because no one wants them... Why do you want to add useless bureaucracy to your purchase?
China recently deployed what it calls a "security robot" in a Shenzhen airport. It's named AnBot and patrols around the clock. It is a cone-shaped robot that includes a cattle prod. AnBot, which has facial recognition capability, is designed to be linked with China's latest supercomputers. The back end of this "intelligent security robot" is linked to China's Tianhe-2 supercomputer, where it has access to cloud services. AnBot conducts patrols, recognizes threats and has multiple cameras that use facial recognition. These cloud services give the robots petascale processing power, well beyond onboard processing capabilities in the robot.

Are these a better alternative for problematic areas than human officers? Human law enforcement officers would perform better in community assistance situations where they interact with good, hard-working citizens as opposed to undesirables.

The only thing preventing china from going full psycho-pass is the amount of land they have to cover.

Why doesnt skynet jut give up?
Hello /k/. Two days ago, I lost a duck to turtles (yes, TURTLES!!) in my pond. Last night, I found a 6 foot snake in the hen house, which I dispatched with an axe (although not before it struck at me twice).
So, I'm finally ready to buy a varmint gun like my wife has been begging me for the past 5 years.
I'm an ex-Marine weapons platoon sgt who fired high expert with his M-14 or M-16 at the rifle range four years straight, so I know about guns and how to handle them. However, I've never owned a weapon as a civilian so know little about civilian weaponry, and I doubt they will let me rustle up and M-14.
So here I am for advice. What's a good all-purpose rifle for varmints? I need one for snakes, coons, possums, and turtles, maybe a coyote. We have bobcats around here but they don't tend to come up close enough to the house to worry about.
I don't need one for home protection, since that is not something I tend to worry about. Just a good, all 'round varmint killer.
Types of guns would be good (22, shotgun, etc), but brands would be nice to know about as well. I figure some may be more reliable or accurate than others.
So, what's your choice of weapons when it comes to killing critters?
For the size of your varmints, I'd get a .410 shotgun.
>>31861566
This seems oddly familiar...
Like it might be a copypasta or something.
However, if you want something good for small shit (turtles, rats, squirrels, etc.) a CZ 452 bolt action .22 will work perfectly.
Also, ignore the dumbass motherfuckers who come and rave for the 10/22. They're shit and Rugers QC is ass.
>>31861566
Your military experience means jack shit (military does not equal safe with guns) and to answer your question a 12g shotgun will fit all your rolls and then some. Maverick 88 or mossberg 500s in whatever lengths you want are cheap and reliable go to's. everything else is superfluous.
So, I want to clarify something. All over the place I've heard that ejecting from a jet is pretty much guaranteed to cause career-ending injuries, mostly from the initial g-forces involved. Spinal fractures, "you'll be about an inch shorter", etc.
How much of this is basically aviation fuddlore, and how much is actually true?
Also, post pics of punching out.
Sounds bullshit
>>31861560
You're being subjected to forces that allow you to eject while on the ground and stationary (zero zero) and clear the jet fast enough to be mostly safe and go high enough for the parachute to mostly open.
It has the potential to mess you up.
It sucks really bad being ejected but its not going to end your career due to injuries in likelihood
What will is why you've just ejected
How do you stay safe while visiting Paris? I know that situational awareness is the single most important thing but for those that went overseas(Iraq and Afghanistan) with the military, what are some tips to read these kind of people?
>>31860912
>How do you stay safe while visiting Paris?
I always maintain that the best way to stay out of shit is to avoid going into shitholes.
So maybe don't visit Paris.

I love the casualties reports. I always look how many planes, tanks and ship weere lost by each side in every war.
Any of you do this? Some good casualties reports you like to share?
"Sadly", today wars are really low in intensity, so we do not have carriers sunk, bombers shot down or whatever. How do you think a major war (Russia/USA, China/Japan) would be in loss of human lives and material?

Hey /k/, long story short I've been kicking around the idea of building an AR for quite some time. I currently have a concealed carry Walther 9mm and have grown up shooting rifles with my father. The only issue is that my good friend from highschool is trying to get me back into playing paintball with him. So basically I can either build the AR or get a decent paintball set up. I'm trying to compare which I'll actually use more/which is the better investment and would like your guys opinions. Either gun I would plan on shooting at least every other week, it's more or less what will be a better investment. I do have a daughter that I'd love to teach how to shoot on a gun I built and keep it in my family, so that's a pretty big reason I'm leaning towards just building an AR. But his counter arguement is that I'll never use it other than shooting at paper for an hour or two
>>31860649
>better investment
Your paintball gear will depreciate like a perishable food item and it will never go up in value, especially if it sees any use at all.
Your firearm, on the other hand, will drop about 20% in value and will likely hold there or skyrocket over the course of your lifetime. Firearms are a better assets than precious metals or stocks plus they're easier to store and sell if need be. A paintball gun isn't even an asset. It ranks with old hockey sticks and football pads that you can take to a hock shop for maybe a few bucks. If for no one else, do it for your daughter so she inherits something of value in 30 years instead of an old used toy that will likely be broken by that point.
>>31860708
I'd build an 80% lower so I wouldn't be able to sell it anyway because of no serial #. But you do make good points, I've been 98% on the AR the whole time. My wife was giving me shit for it the other day as well because I "already have a gun", in regards to my 9mm carry. Almost had to divorce her that day
>>31860734
>I'd build an 80% lower so I wouldn't be able to sell it anyway because of no serial #
you can sell it you just cant make a business out of it
Look here, an export grade Chink AESA has the same capability as the APG-81 of the F-35.
Pic: KLJ-7A, AESA upgrade of the KLJ-7V2 pulse doppler radar equipping the MiG-21 derived JF-17 as used by Pakistan.
>>31860414
It say KLJ7A is a AESA specially designed for JF17 with performance equals to radar of F35. Operational mode including:
Tracking and searching
Single/multiple targets tracking
Dogfight
Real beam mapping
Doppler beam sharpening
Synthetic aperture imaging
Identify and track moving ground targets
Sea targets searching and tracking
Meteorological mode
Missile guidance and multi targets attack mode
Merits
-long detection range
-High accuracy
-Multi operational modes
-Multi target processing ability
>>31860422
I hope they will remove the cover and unveil the T/R modules later in the show.
But as it stands, the overexpensive APG-81 and the F-35 is getting BTFO by a Chinese small size monkey model AESA for a fucking upgraded MiG-21.
>>31860432
AESA will be equipped on the JF-17 Block III and B variant.
I'm19. I bought an $750 Vepr 12 from an online dealer and had hoped to FFL transfer it... When I show up today I will be denied because muh gumment. I need advice.
I have 30 days before the FFL 'disposes' of it, aka keeps it for himself.
From what I know, I can sell the rights to it to another person then have the FFL transfer it to them (not as a straw purchase, but to SELL it for $1 or some small amount)... is this true from what I hear?
Who do I have get it?
1: My mom, same address (different surname)? Will the guy recognize that we have the same address then call the ATF about a potential straw purchase, and get our door kicked in?
2: My dad, same name, potentially disqualified due to domestic abuse conviction or w/e 10 years ago?
3: My uncle (different address and name, completely impossible to prove straw purchase or be denied) who would have to drive back to my state and apply for that permit and then wait for a week?
Am I shit out of luck and have to send it back?
Sorry if incoherent, been up all night kinda panicking. I know you all probably think I'm retarded as shit and I'm sorry.
>>31860123
>not having a chill fun store whom will work with you

Why did you buy it, if you knew you would get denied?

>Legal ownership of automatics and armored vehicles.
>Majority of the population is conveniently Deputized.
>Begin building bunkers, municipal annexation of neighboring empty lands, and make more towns across the empty parts of the USA.
Just an Interesting Thought.

go back to jerking off over covers of guns and ammo and keeping your powder dry, because that civil war you want will never, ever happen.
in reality

It would be a mix.
