My cat does that once in a while. She was a stray I took in so she's half wild and used to finding her own dinner. A few weeks ago we found a pidgeon with it's head chewed off under some bushes that she had caught. The body was untoughed, just the head was missing. She looks like the sweetest little thing, but she's a cold blooded killer.

My miniature pincher loves to hunt rats and other critters. She has chased possums and racoons but idk what she would do if she actually caught one.

When I was a kid I had a brittany that would catch squirrels and release them relatively unharmed (after making sure everyone had seen her trophy of course).

My cat is at least 21 years old.

She was inside/outside for most of her life, but spent 3 straight years outside recently until we took her in when it dropped below negative 15 degrees in the winter.

Hell of a personality on her being so old. Being around that long, you can start to tell why cats do some of the things they do, instead of just chalking it up to being generally pissed at the world and catlike.

You sure about that? There's no indicators that those are feral cats. The fact that pics were taken can be considered a red flag by itself. Arranging the bodies in a tree for a photo op could be considered trophy-taking behavior, very similar to what serial killers do. The before-and-after pics of the cat in the cage fall into the same category.

I understand the need to control feral populations. Dogs, cats, hogs, humans- they all need periodic culling. However, you don't brag about it and you sure as hell don't take pics. Those can become evidence against you, especially if you're stupid enough to post on line.

Brought a ragged shit cat that kept getting into my garage to animal control. Even had to fucking pay them to take it. Few months later and its back in my back yard. Guess its somebodies "pet."
