Kimber pistols catch a lot of shit for low quality and some people will argue against the brand because of it. These people are what we call fucking morons because the rifles are completely unrelated to the pistols in production.

That said, you should clarify what you're looking for. I'm sure their hunting rifles are nice enough and they seem to be at a decent price, but the more "tactical" rifles like what you posted in pic are upwards of $2000 and at that point I think I'd recommend an FN SPR instead, or maybe see if having a gunsmith build a barreled action for you is a possibility.

Do you want a tack driver? Go find a 20" barrel. Want a home defense gun? Go 16" or 14.5" with permanent muzzle device. Want somewhere in between? Go 18".

What do you want to shoot? Cheapest .223/5.56 is 55 gr, which needs at least a 1:9 twist rate or slower (so 1:10, 1:12, etc). Want to be able to shoot 62 or 72 gr ammo? (not expensive, but less common) Go 1:8 or 1:7.
