I have been building my own guns for some years now and I'm pretty ok at it, built a lot actually. Question is do you think a good how to video series would be of interest for all of the different 80% varieties out there?

Yes, I'm sure it would. Unfortunately, what goes into a successful channel isn't just good information. Typically the most successful build and DIY channels have an immense diversity of products and access to new products. That is often supplemented by an income which comes from manufacturers or distributors. Youtube channels like Hickock45, Sootch00, and MrGunsnGear are just commercials for products, rather than real sources of information. If you're looking for a hobby, I'm sure it'd get some hits.

Hell being self funded the amount of content wouldn't be fast, but just to help people out who are interested. I've seen others do it but they are usually either long winded with too much information or they are someone who butchers and cobbles shit together, or the worst are basically no information or misinformation
