Or much better, teach me how to teach myself. I want to know as much as I can about the infantry specifically. The years I want to focus on are 1941 and 1942.
Some types of things I'd like to know: what were the jargon or terms they used? What were their day to day lives like when on the frontlines but not in combat? Where did the individual man get his supplies and rations from?
ANY information is useful and appreciated.
overrated army that massacred millions of civilians.

Is it illegal for a tank driver to run over an enemy soldier in the heat of battle?
If a tank is heading down a street and an enemy RPG gunner jumps out from an alleyway and is taking aim, is the tank driver allowed to run that fucker over, or will he be charged with war crimes?
>>33524928
>Is it illegal for a tank driver to run over an enemy soldier in the heat of battle?
I don't think so. I knew a guy who was an M60 driver around the time the US was changing over to the Abrams MBT. He told me he was instructed to "use the vehicle as a weapon if need be."
>>33524928
Also, take note that it's considered "not okay" to use a tank to collapse enemy trenches and bury the enemy

>>33524928
>rpg gunner getting that close
Typically a tank is the talk of the town and the only real running over of people you will be doing is that of the dead and the dying.
Just finished making a bad decision.
Purchased this Browning Auto-5 on Gunbroker for $300. I am going to refinish it top to bottom, and maybe even add some engraving.
What'd you buy today /k/ommando?
>>33524467
Nothing.
I almost bought an unengraved pre-war Auto-5 for about the same price, as a project. But it seems like this one is a better starting point
I bought an SMLE number 4 mark II from gunbroker as well for 508 total including shipping. I know I might've overpaid but its whatever, I really wanted it.
It's weird how the media lionizes leftist militants. If this guy were fighting for the rhodies, do you think NY Magazine would do a glowing piece on him?
http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2017/04/brace-belden-pisspiggranddad-syria-isis.html
>>33524313
Of course not. Look at how an open communist is treated by the media. If an moderately rightwing person/group behave similarly they would be called vicious neo-nazis immediately.
Well maybe if all the right wingers who went over with Lions of Rojava weren't douchebags who fell out of favor with the YPG for having shitty politics, the media would be more sympathetic.
Kind of hard to lionize people who only go to the war because they "want to kill muslims", when there are revolutionaries who the locals love.

Nerf is fine, but we'd also get airshit threads and trolling again as well.
Just find an Australia thread
Is the chinese military the biggest paper tiger currently in the military world?
>NO experience at all
Are they even a competent military?
>>33524254
Competence isn't needed for human wave attacks.

one air burst artilery and your shitty wave is dead.

Why hasn't anybody made a pistol with a non reciprocating slide before? It's dead simple to design and it'd make jamming when grabbed or when the slide is hit a thing of the past.
>>33504537
>dead simple to design
because in any of these dead simple designs you can still hold it the same way and still jam it with the cartridge that's ejecting

Don't buy it

It's either that or a High Point Carbine on the pricing options available.

Two questions but basically the same in a way.
> why are mass shooters body counts so low. Why do they suffer to jams
Wouldnt you think they would practice and practice and know their guns?
And for the Negros/gangsters
They looooove guns but cant shoot for shit.
Watching some vids when a gun fight breaks out they usually sporadically just fire in the general direction.
Why do they not go to the range? Do they not like the loud noises? Why do they not appreciate guns like us?
It's hard to kill someone that has nearly immediate access to advanced medical technology in 1 shot
>Implying Redguard fast travel to the countryside range.
It's hard to practice shooting when you barely leave your porch.

Already did my 4 in Iraq/Afghanistan and my inactive duty is up. I'm turning 30 this year. Have fun kids, I'm going to Jody the fuck out of your gfs.
For what purpose?
>>33504308
I use 12ga caps to practice loading shotguns faster in my basement
>>33504308
I usually have my range buddy load one in the mag, wont tell me if he loaded it as the 1st, 4th, 8th etc. It will act as a malfunction for you, you now got to fix the issue.
safely func check after disassembly or modification.
In preparation for Voldemort's invasion, Hogwarts has hired 300 /k/ommandos to aid in their defense. Alternatively Voldemort has also hired 400 /k/ommandos to aid in his attack.
So /k/ choose your side and also how would you attack/defend Hogwarts.
Each /k/ommando is given 45k USD to outfit themselves with.
also this is in addition to the regular wizards and witches being there fighting.

You picked the worst setting.

How autistic is it to own a sword? I'm a well adjusted member of society with a full time job and all that good stuff, but I'm a major history buff and have recently thought about getting a sword. It would be something European based so no worries about weeb shit.
It's fine so long as you don't go around telling people how it will beat a gun.
>>33523302
Don't go telling people you own them at all.
Actually just dont own any.
>>33523275
It's cool if it's a tasteful decorative piece thats hanging on a wall or something.
I mean, you could always get a battle-ready one and do the same thing so you could have a real weapon nearby.
