It looks like a SCAR with Downs Syndrome.
>>33547836
Has he said anything to you about it?

>the prices are still falling and would have saved money if I was patient

Sucks to suck. Now git.
>>33547660
and now youve killed a thread for this. you should feel twice as bad.
>>33547674
it was probably a shitty thread that deserved to be pruned anyway
Sup /k/,
I have never built an AR before, and I have an itch to do so this weekend. I've got some money to spend, but still shooting for the best budget deal.
They have some deals on PSA I'm looking at, but I don't know which to buy. This http://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-16-stainless-mid-length-1-7-freedom-rifle-kit.html
Is the cheapest, looks like a steal. But then this catalog http://palmettostatearmory.com/ar-15-05/rifle-kits.html?dir=desc&order=saving has some deals for only 50$ more, and I have no idea if it'still worth it or which to get.
When I say I've never built an AR, I mean it. I'm not afraid to build it, I work in the trades so consider myself competent when it comes to being handy. Plus youtube.
Tl:Dr- PSA has some deals and I want your opinion on which to get, and if you are feeling frisky, which stripped lower to get.
>>33547580
Are you talking about "building" as in pinning an upper to a lower or actually building one?
>>33547580
putting a lpk into a lower isnt exactly like legos, takes some tools.
and youd be better off getting an aero 16 middy assembled upper.
>>33547580
I've got a MOE Freedom kit from PSA I got on sale and it's worked perfectly so far, I've had it about a year now. Just make sure you have an AR wrench, decent punch set and some allen keys and what not and you'll be fine.
Where the Virginia /k/ people at?
How hard is it to get a CCW here? I just moved here.
>>33547320
Actually just got mine today. I was expecting it to arrive near the end of the 45 day maximum turn around time, but they sent it two and a half weeks early. Yay. Also, I forgot my apartment address from last year and just put down the general apartment name... Guess they were cool with that in my history of residence haha.
>>33547454
I also just took some Hunter's Ed course online for $40 for my proof of competency... They had no problems with that either.
>>33547511
>>33547454
You can take the course online? Is there no practical (holster drill, cert, etc) exam?
>If you're 23-25 and older, you may have been shooting longer than a huge portion of our userbase has been alive

We're getting old.

Have an opportunity to buy a Ruger LCR (Chambered in .38 Special) new for $367 + tax. Should I go for it or no? Also, general Ruger discussion.
I say yes.I rarely see them below $400
S&W Shield 9mm w/ rebate puts it at $244.99 from Palmetto
But with that being said, I carry a LCR loaded with gold dots and I love it.

Are there bullets that are undetectable by an X-ray. Do they exist (probably not due to density issues and mass) and could I legally use them for self defense since I am a civilian and not a military force. Probably already answered my own question but I'm really interested because I want what I shoot to die for good in a home defense scenario.
>>33546582
Then get a heavy ass bullet made of lead.
>>33546582
yea a weapons developer will specifically try to make a product that they can't sell to anyone...
hint, xray undetectable bullets have no market, they are illegal in international law.
>>33546636
>international law
Hahahahahahahhahahahahah oh wow
So I picked this piece of shit up out of a mall last week and now when Ixm heading home down lakeshore it glows blue like a fucking glowstick, whats wrong with it?
