its sighted in but i think maybe i didnt tighten up the mount enough. Then again, I was having a really hard time keeping the crosshairs lined up the whole time so i think its probably just me being really terrible at shooting.

it's a normal DPMS AR, they shouldnt be that inaccurate shot to shot at 100 yards, should they? I'm new to the platform, is there anything i have to do differently in regards to shooting form as opposed to fuddguns? i used to be pretty accurate with a levergat a few years back.

25, 50 and 100(max for my range). Benched and standing both supported and offhand.
Prone on cold concrete covered with brass is uncomfortable and I don't have a mat, don't really know why I don't do kneeling/sitting.

Tbh I've never really cared for precision shooting or long range anyway and don't have a pistol or a place to do the dynamic/tactical shooting and drills which interests me.

Ok time to put some of this to bed. Do you have a neck injury, really bad anemia, or geriatric brittle bones? If no the armor you wear will stop whatever it is rated for with some badass bruising on your side with minimal lasting injury if anything actually hits hard enough to knock you down. That said shotguns do suck to get nailed with but so long as it impacts as armor life only sucks for a few days. I vaguely recall some annon showed level 4 plates stop a 338 lapula and that or the 375 h&h are about all I would worry about for impact shock as anything stronger will pen level 4 and the smaller mag barrel burners are rare enough to notbe much of a worry

There's a few companies that make single shot bolt action .50bmg uppers for AR-15 receivers for not much more. Look into those.

Look for gloves that accommodate for a thinner thumb or index finger.

Look into pilot gloves. They are missing the tip of the index and tip of the thumb to allow for the use of switch boards. Good ones are expensive, but are made for extreme cold due to the altitude changes. Expect to pay at least $40 for a good pair, but you will like them.

There are some gloves where the index fingertip is removable. If you're too scared to expose your two fingertips on one hand to the asphalt should you ever crash, those are your other option.

You're not going to find many compact guns with a HUGE trigger guard unless you have a gunsmith make one, which likely won't happen. There may be one, but I look at compact guns a lot because I was shopping for my CC not too long ago, and I found none like you describe.
