A revolver is good for women and people with weak arms since no slide.

A semi auto pistol has more capacity which means you can triple tap a dindu assailant to make sure he goes down and can be easily reloaded and the ammo is easy to carry.

I had an original Whitney Wolverine for a while. I broke two firing pins inside around 2000 rounds of Winchester 555. Obviously you're buying it to collect for dat spaec gun, but if you plan on shooting be careful. Firing pins are a pain to find, it took me about a year to find some. Other than that it was a nice little gun, it was super comfy and shot really well

If you mean the Cx4 Storm and not Cx4 pistol then I've got one of them too, it's incredibly fun, dead reliable after thousands of rounds (without cleaning as I'm lazy :^)) and I can't praise it enough outside of price

Any recommendations at all for compensators? Most pistol comps seem to be fairly gun- specific, and all of them seem to be intended for Glocks. Would getting the barrel/slide ported be as stupid as I think it is? Seems like a really expensive way to invite gunk into the action.

That's a pretty broad question, man. Do you want to go as small as possible? Are you experienced with firearms? Do you want something easy to use or something that requires a little more of a commitment? I personally carry a charter arms bulldog in .44 special and have no problem recommending it to anyone. On the plus side it's relatively light for the power of the cartridge, revolvers don't jam, and a cylinder can never fail to feed. On the negative, revolvers will never have the capacity of even the smallest subcompact polymer auto, it's heavy for the number of rounds held, and revolvers (arguably) aren't as quick to reload as automatics.
