Ruger is a great brand but definitely the CZ.

have a cz550 and desu they are beautiful rifles.

Depends which Ruger we're talking about. If its the Ruger 77/22 then i'd say they're about equal, both beautiful guns. If its the Ruger american, then the CZ wins no contest, the Ruger is a cheap toy by comparison.

As far as .22 bolt guns go, they have a great price/quality. I'm a big fan of their 455 models with the thumbhole stock.
Put a decent scope on it and you have a great gun.

But if you want a more expensive but waaaaay better gun as far as quality and accuracy goes. Buy Anschutz.

I wont sit here and say that one is better than the other, both are honestly really good for a fun cheap(ish) bolt gun in .22
