>>2672144

Something something epic colors.
>>2672193
you spelt 'immature' wrong
So how the FUCK do I properly shade with a pencil?
I've looked at countless drawings and I have deducted the biggest factor making the difference between amateur and pro visually is the shading and the mastery of volumes.
Your anatomy and construction can be as good as perfect, if your shading and volumes are off it looks flat and unappealing.
So how to get the shading good?
>>2667916
Get around 6-7 pencils.
From 2H, 2B, 2HB, 8B (my fav) whatever.
And light studies.
There you go.

Need some help regarding SAI-
I've tried to download a older crack for it and use it for the most recent version, and wasn't working for me (was desperate for the most recent version, but every crack I find is for older versions). I use a registered copy of Revo Uninstaller Pro to cleanly uninstall shit and apparently SAI still gives me the "trial expired " error. I tried the ProgramData trick, bit it didn't work. What am I missing?
Has no one given a shit about cracking the most recent version?
SAI works like no matter what version it is man. It's not like the newest SAI is any better.

Buy it, its like five buvks and yoy get sai 2.0 for free jesus morty
>>2671498
>five buvks
It says 5400JPY which is 50 fucking bucks.
I want to invest in my first tablet, but I hear how drawing on an intuos or the like is nothing like traditional. Is it worth it to save the trouble and get a screen tablet like the cintiq13hd rather than an intuos med/large?
>>2670581
Do not get a cintiq as a first tablet. It will very likely end up as a massive waste of money. It can take a while to get used to a regular tablet bit don't get a cintiq just to avoid a few weeks of getting used to a regular tablet.
Get an intuos medium, only invest in a cintiq if you're doing art professionally or drawing 5+ hours a day.
It doesn't take long to get comfortable with a normal tablet.
I wonder. How does it feel to draw on a cintiq? I feel like it would be strange to have the pen in front of the drawing again.
You post your art.
We point out what's good about it.

I call it, Bold and Brash.

Hello, my name is Brian Schumacher and I'm recruiter for Blizzard Entertainment. I just wanted to point out that this piece really speaks to me and is exactly the kind of talent we here at Blizzard reach out to. I'd like to give you my contact information so that I can discuss with you further opportunities here at our company--actually we just started a secret project and would love to have you on-board to work with the art director, we could use your skills for the art direction on this IP. Let me know if you are interested!

Hi Brian Shumacker. Can you go suck a dick?
Thank you for your time.
>i think my art supervisor has realised i have a thing for large male thighs
i knew i should have varied my assignments more
>large male thighs
You have good taste bby. You like big muscly ones or thicc chubby ones?
>>2673549
What is a art supervisor?
>>2673549
so?
So, my security job allows me to bring my laptop that has all my art references.
I want to practice on human figure and poses, but I don't wanna get fired for looking at what most people will think is porn.
Could we please have a thread on clothed human figures, preferably in casual poses? I need to work on making people who aren't stiff, too.
Thank you in advance.
>>2672379
OP, here, I'll dump what I can.
>>2672385
>>2672388
Rip it apart, redline me, etc. before I start refining.
Yes, I fucking suck. Anatomy and perspective is still a difficult thing for me to do, but I'm still trying. Also, I would think that the head needs to be bigger. (For some reason I have this tendency to draw heads a little smaller than they should. Again, anatomy.)
>>2674233
it's not yours
>>2674253
Yes, it is.
>>2674258
Who names their filenames like that? It's an obvious save from elsewhere.
Someone know the temary of a concept art program, i have this one(pic) , but a want to know if there is one more specific.
Thanks guys!
>>2673973
What's a temary?
>>2673973
FZD has one. It's under their program section.
Thanks!!
Hello, I was wondering if y'all know or if anyone is willing to draw some pop? Art like this. I want to put it on my vehicle so trying to find someone willing to do so. Similar to this.

Hey /ic/ I'm looking for a High Resolution version of ''The Kramer'' to get it canvas printed.
Also what do you guys think about it - both as a poster and as a painting.
And unrelated to my first request - What do you guys think about ''The Nun'' painting from The Conjuring 2? Genrally, what other movie related pieces would you recommand or like.
who the fuck actually drew the kramer?
also is it really was a painting?
>>2671400
They were actually painting it in the episode, at least some of it was painted.
>Client wants a caricature
>Complains about exaggerated features
>>2666366
actually happened with a bunch of girls. Women are the worst
>>2666372
>>2666366
Do you guys also tell women their butts DO look big?
People are very self-conscious and insecure about their flaws, and many see things like uneven ears to be their worst, ugliest feature, even if literally no one even notices it, let alone are repulsed by it.
The key to being a customer friendly caricature artist is to HIGHLIGHT AND PLAY WITH (not "exaggerate") CHARACTERISTIC FEATURES (not the things that make people unattractive).
I can hear you reaching for your keyboard already, stop right there.
There is a difference between caricaturing a person to get a message across, and drawing a caricature of someone paying you for it.
They want you to take a whimsical poke at them and give them something they can have a laugh over with someone, not to draw the kind of things their bullies drew in their textbooks to make them cry.
>>2666384
>I can hear you reaching for your keyboard already, stop right there.
Do not ever type this again.
Does anyone have any good foreshortening tutorials?
Learn perspective
>>2673066
>>2673067
ok thanks you guys are right
How good do you have to be to draw in public without looking like an autist?
I know normies get impressed by really mediocre art but there must be a limit.
If people get impressed by anime shit, normies probably get an erection by seeing anything related to realism.
>>2672789
if you're trying to draw in public to impress people you're probably too noob.
>>2672819
Not to impress people, just so you don't look like a fucking retard.
How does it look?
>>2672200
Literally perfect.
>>2672200
