Is there any reason why Krita isn't the most shilled software on /ic/? It's objectively superior.

From what I understand PS is the standard because it's a much more versatile tool. I remember long time ago reading a special note that krita is not primarily a photo manipulation program and it is what many professionals do.

I guess I don't need to tell you that you have poor draftsmanship in every single aspect so let's look at the design.
It's neither interesting nor does it tell me much about the character. The horns are poorly placed and have no depth, they may as well be part of a hairband. Eyes are bigger than the goggles, there won't be any protection. Also the goggles are only held by the band without any bridge stabilizing them. In reality it would be a mess putting them on and they would flap around all the time. Not to mention it's the nature of rubber to be elastic so with time the goggles will get loose enough to fall off.
Her second ear should be visible seeing how much her visible ear stands out.
The hair follows no rules, it's arbitrary soft and static. I will leave the hairstyle as simply savage. I will cut you some slack and take it as the character doesn't care about her appearance instead of random draftsmanship.
I don't know what the fuck is even going on with her top so I will leave it as it is.

i hope its okay to make a thread about this, but i wasn't sure where to really ask about this.
i wanna learn how to draw interesting modern looking armor (video game looking stuff) im not sure what to search for to study from. there are elements that concept artists use that basically make the armor look somewhat realistic, basically making it look like it makes sense.
would really appreciate any advice

Most armor is constructed of the same types of pieces since it needs to cover the same things (torso, arms etc). You just need to modify the shapes to look cool. A lot of designers take inspiration from things like paintball armor or lacross gear or other sports and then change the shapes around a bit.
