just graduated from art school
what do you guys think
>>3124737
>when xerox machines get bored
all oil paintings btw
do you own figures, anon?
No but I've been considering getting some. Should I?
>>3124699
its really up to you. If you are struggling with anatomy and a new artist I highly recommend it. It helped me a lot. Also nice dubs
>>3124699
not OP, but I know they are kinda expensive.
>I Figure Draw 24/7 to get better at animation
>I draw boxes every day all day and only boxes to understand perspective
>I copied every single page from Bridgman, Loomis, and Hampton books for anatomy
>I do painting studies from Life because I was told to xD
No wonder so many people complain why they are never improving or don't feel like drawing. You guys keep falling for the study meme. If you guys do these things unironically, then no shit you're not going to improve. Stop that.
>Post work
I would if the proof was in the fucking pudding. Look around ic and all this bitching, these are people who've been following the sticky. Now look up a great artists and check out their interviews. 95% of the time, they don't know who Hampton or whoever is. They don't go about saying how much they "studied". As long as you have a understanding of Form and Perspective, that's it.
Vilppu doesn't teach you "how to draw" per-say. He's simply offering Tools to help you grab whatever is from your imagination, and put it onto paper. That's it.
Don't fall for the study meme!
damn you're a dumb cunt

>Now look up a great artists and check out their interviews. 95% of the time, they don't know who Hampton or whoever is.
So what? There are many great anatomy teachers teaching in those high price design schools in cali that you have never heard of all because they don't have a book on amazon.
>Vilppu doesn't teach you "how to draw" per-say. He's simply offering Tools to help you grab whatever is from your imagination
this is an absurd statement
Is this a counter post to >>3123934?
This board is fucking trash.
>he thinks he's going to make it
Statistically, the majority of you won't make it. In all likelihood, you will be one of the ones left behind. Everyone thinks they're special and that their specific vision will make them the exception to the rule, even in this regard you aren't special. Just another crab in the bucket.
Follow the rule of if it would be saved out of a skip. An artwork has a value of its own.
>>3123450
The sad thing is this is probably true. 90% of these users draw anime. It's hopeless.
>>3123456
This painting drives me crazy those colours are phenomenal. How the bodies stand out through a slight outline
Drawing thread?
This ain't /i/ fuckboi
Where can I commission a talented artist to draw pictures of lewd anime girls for me?
>talented
clearly not here
>>3122983
Anywhere but here
>>3122989
>>3122986
If not here then where my good friends?
Is there a name for this type of medieval looking art?
any other artists like miura that try to emulate it?
>>3120936
Engraving, either woodblock, or metal. Back then, they didn't have lithography, so to make images like that in large amounts, they made woodblock carvings and made impressions with them with ink.
The kind of this kind of work is Albrect Durer. After him, Gustov Dore.
Contemporary artists, there are many - most cartooning came out of this kind of drawing, using line and crosshatching. Bernie Wrightson is one of the better modern practitioners of it.
Its our fourth edition and anon still doesn't has a folder for cute reference!

I just rewatched my animation, and i realised it was just a cringey mess . What happened? I was going to put it on youtube, but now i'm having second thoughts.
>>3093799
I wanna start learning to animate, but I'm a little lost. Which of the resources above would you reccomend for an absolute beginner?
Hey guys somewhat time sensitive question here. I want to try out Clip Studio and they're having a sale now. EX is only 87 bucks. However, I want to get a new PC soon but still take advantage of the offer and start messing around with CS and get used to it. I assume when I download it I get a serial number? Can I use the serial number any number of times? So would I just be able to redownload it and use my previous serial number when I get my new PC? Thanks for the help couldnt seem to find this specific info.
>>3129580
I have installed the same legal CSP Pro serial on two computers with no issue, so you probably won't have any problems.
CSP says you can use the serial number on no more than 2 computers so you should be fine
Thoughts about this series?

>>3129534
I know de Kooning paints like a degenerate but this guy looks like he just half assed it somehow.
>>3129534
It's a good series, very informative. Don't expect him to actually recreate a masterpiece, just to illustrate the types of techniques used by some modern artists.
You can tell these retarded hipsters are full of shit trying to emulate money laundering schemes by over embellishing their vernacular with pointless verbosity.
>obliterated
>flay
lmfao you're chipping away paint. If you can convince people to drink cyanide laced kool aid, convincing pseudointellectuals that paint randomly splashed on a canvas is "art" is child's play.
at first i posted something like this on /aco/ but i got a warning that i should post this on /r/ instead but i don't think that's the right board for it. So i'll try here
So i finished making this animation loop. What do you guys think?
>>3129443
This belongs in the porn thread.
Hi OP, Anon above means you should post here
>>3129043
That's where you'll find people interested in that stuff. We also have an Animation General here
>>3093799
they're certainly the most able to help with your stuff but I don't guarantee their reaction. May not appreciate the porn side.
Please refrain from posting your porn elsewhere on the board because it's a Eastern Orthodox Praying board and it would make us sad.
>>3129475

>>3129400
fuck off, no one cares
>>3129487
First post, best post.
Post examples of shit like this fucker is the worst utter thing i ever seen.
Why? Why do you want to see a bunch of bad art? Look at good art. Practice drawing.
>>3129359
Yours is worse lol
>>3129359
This is why you'll never make it. You should be drawing. Not mocking other artists
