daily reminder that art school is a waste of money and time
AP usually indicates that it's a high school class.
>>3129380
This.
In that context it's pretty damn good.
>>3129376
none of my art teachers ever liked me, or ignored me because i was the best in the class
I'll do a quick paintover or a redline of your work of choice in this thread. Can't promise I'll do all depending on how many replies I get but I'll try to do a few.
Thoughts?

made this recently, would appreciate it

>google hits from 2016
okay sure buddy
I never got any support from my family or my environment whatsoever. Nobody really cared that I draw. I never got any words of encouragement, everything was always on my shoulders alone. I had to withstand every failure by myself and get up by making myself relatively happy for a moment, because not one person ever cares.
So my question is: how can I become a self sufficient artist? Well, I am kinda self sufficient now because if I wasn't, I would have quit years ago. I just don't get any positive energy and I feel empty so I have to make myself my best friend I guess. How do I do that?
Maybe you would have friends if you didn't talk like you were an insufferable self victimizing little twat.
>>3129140
You don't know my life, it may seem self victimizing because it's not normal. I say it as it is, literally. I am not autistic, I wasn't bothering people and begging them to support me, I am myself. I just exist. And no one cares, which kinda makes sense but still I need a source of positive energy so I can keep going. Looking at my past experiences I am not asking for much.
Start working out and eating better if you can.
I don't know if it will make you feel better. It won't make you feel worse at least. Also, if you get jacked, you can be your own model, since you have no friends :^)
Post awkward crappy paintings, bonus for cringey animals.
you're the one who's cringy. kill yourself loser.
Saw this on someone's Snapchat yesterday
Hey guys, I want to put doodles and stuff on T-shirts to make some side-$$$.
Anyone done this? I have a few designs live now, but no idea how/where to market them now. Any advice welcome.

thanks I didnt see that thread. Sorry for bumping, sage doesn't work anymore? get an error when posting with sage...
I intend on studying feet, but I couldn't find a cool set of pictures to study. I want to compile one with 3 x 15 photos like in this hand set which I enjoyed studying every photo because they actually look neat. It would be nice to have a set with the most interesting and fun to study feet.
What are you favorite photos of feet? A few drawings to study might be cool too.

Here's a first draft
>>3128693
So I'm getting back into art and I'm being flooded again with thoughts from high school that I'll never be good because I can't draw shit from memory without a visual aid. I used to bullshit my way through art class but people liked my shit anyway. Should I just draw objects from observation
>>3128668
Why do you need to draw from memory?
The notion that drawing shit from memory equates to skill level is a huge meme. As long as you get a decent end product, there is no shame in using reference images. Doing so isn't a crutch depending on how you use them and only helps further strengthen your work. A lot of people here seem to have this belief that Kim Jung Gi is the epitome of artistry due to his ability to draw from memory. It's an amazing skill to have but isn't everything there is to art. Famous painters and illustrators like Norman Rockwell and countless others all depended heavily on references. How much you want to hone your imaginative drawing skills really just depends on what you want your end product to look like. All these skills do develop from observational drawing though so, yes, it's best to start doing that.
>>3128741
>Kim Jung Gi
Ha ha ha!!!! I just checked out one of his videos. He draws cartoons nigga! What kind of shit is that?
Anyone can learn to draw cartoon people from memory. Serious artists use visual references.
What's up with these autistic retards like nosebro who think they'll get anywhere by doing unfinished work all the time? You're gonna remain shit. Aside from doing warm ups, majority of your work should be finished fucking pieces
>b-but people on deviantart
Those faggots don't care about art enough in general. It has nothing to do with whether their work is finished or not. Analyze your mistakes and try to improve with every fucking piece
>>3128398
i think its disingenuous taking the oldest piece of hard you can find, but ok. i know this isnt finished either, but im improving nonetheless.
>>3128398
post work.

>>3128933
how about posting more than 2 images to get the ball rolling you vapid self absorbed cunt
>Don't know what to draw? You should go around fulfilling request from other boards Anon!
>You'll get more exposure and experience in fulfilling requests and get a taste of what's out there!
>>3127233
>and get a taste of what's out there
atleast that part is true. but hey, tons of money to be made there if you're good, drawing disgusting futa shit
>>3127233
Eh, I'd rather just draw my own disgusting fetishes.
>>3127233
/d/rawthreads used to be tamer in the past. Nowadays there's maybe one or two normal futa requests and the rest is shit like in the OP.

TRY TO BE MORE ACTIVE AND GIVE PEOPLE SOME FEEDBACK - many studies are left unreplied, which is a bit sad and can be quite demotivating for the people that try their best to improve, but are left directionless.
