do you own figures, anon?
No but I've been considering getting some. Should I?
>>3124699
its really up to you. If you are struggling with anatomy and a new artist I highly recommend it. It helped me a lot. Also nice dubs
>>3124699
not OP, but I know they are kinda expensive.
>>3124702
alright thanks
>>3124706
Those aren't really that expensive. You can get them from amazon for 30 euros
She works well but only situationally; It's more for foreshortening reassurance than anything else. Just doing poses from imagination is quicker and lets ideas out more loosely rather than having myself mentally confined to what I'm seeing on a plastic model.
Main complaint is she is not double-jointed. I do not know how you have something like this with only one joint on limbs. But I think it's my bias for functionality over aesthetic.

I would love to get a skull model and some sort of Asaro head. Unfortunately all recommended ones are not available in Germany. I don't dare to chose one on my own, because I don't know if they are accurate enough and I don't want to learn stuff that's wrong. Anyone can help me out?
>>3124695
I own one full scale figure with 100% accurate anatomy, also all the refs the Internet has to offer. If I ever need more, I'll use a 3d posing program. Those figures are shit, except maybe the really expensive ones.
>>3125134
if you just want a skull you should look into supplies for medical students and such like, there are many anatomical models out there, so organs are no problem either lol
>>3125164
Or just buy a real skull.
>>3125175
i don't think you can in germany, the skeletons for medical models are casts usually so they're accurate enough by definition

Nigga she hit the wall hard dude. She's still got a beautiful voice but damn.
Bilinda was better and she's actually still a cutie.

>You can get low-quality Chinese bootlegs from Amazon for $30
FTFY.
>>3125345
Theri actual price is below 3000 yen, about $25. Anyone that bought bootlegs or paid more for them got scammed.
Here's the male flesh version for 2500 yen.

And the female special orange edition which is an exclusive. Overpriced by a bit, you might want to wait for the regular flesh or gray version to pop up.

Don't ever buy Japanese products from AliExprss and eBay. 99.9% of the time it's overpriced bootlegs.
>>3124695
One of these, but it kinda sucks.
Isn't there like a figure that combines simple shapes and the dynamism of OP's figs?
Are Gijoe figures good to draw?
>>3125247
DELET THIS
>>3125425
Rachel is pure and she aged beautifully. No more fantasy material but she is still beautiful for her age
>>3125392
yes, armature 9
>>3126655
Oh wow, these look pretty nice. Not too pricey either, it seems
>>3126655
Damn, that looks fucking nice.
Maybe I'll buy one. Thanks anon.

>dead website
>>3127989
IIRC that thing cost something like 350$
>>3124695
What is the appeal of figures over 3D models?
>>3129173
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMxTFqPET5I
>>3128013
They're a bit shit. Something like 1000toys synthetic human has far better jointing while maintaining actual human proportions. Also 3D printed so loose and fragile.
>>3129224
Seems like I'll stick to my 3D software then
>>3125426
Bilinda was and still is cuter.
>>3130232
I don't know if that feature has a specific name but this kind of wide smile where you can see a bit inside the corners has me lose my head instantly
>>3130283
Her smile is pretty.
