hey /gd! i used to lurk here all the time months ago but i kind of fell of the planet for a little while.
im pretty decent with Photoshop, but i know at some point i need to expand and learn other things, so yesterday i decided i would tackle After Effects. hopefully i can get some help from you wonderful people here.
i decided my first project would be a music streaming video for my band.
if you want, you can check out the song being used here:
attached i also included is a still/mockup of what i want it to look like.
as far as the live effects go, heres the perfect example. for the most part, everything im trying to do is showcased here:
as you can see in the example, we have
>a moving background
>moving album art and text
>slide in transitions at the beginning (only interested in the album art and text, i know a lot goes into the weird effect that was given to the record label logo on the bottom right)
that is everything i would like to achieve. in mine, however, I want to have the white background behind the text, the text itself, the art, and possibly the clouds/splashes moving as well.
>I have every layer separate for individual manipulation.
>those splashes are not actually cut off, just off screen. i can move the layer around and still have the full splash
>the splashes dont NEED to move, i know theres ways to throw in 3D cloud effects over everything instead
my questions are:
>where do i start?
I can open AE and then i go brain dead. a few years ago i made an intro for some lets play videos but i dont remember how i did them. the text had a fly in, there was lens flare, etc. this is however different obviously.
>any tutorial suggestions?
every time i search something like "how to make music stream videos After Effects" i get complicated tutorials on things im not interested in at the moment.
Sun up, and water down.
I'm looking for some help on those kind of logo that you see around lately on merchandising.
Anyone can tell who those are made? There aren't really much tutorials on that, so that's why I'm asking.
Just some general questions:
With which font do i start of?
Which one is the most suitable for those 60/70s styled logos?
Which tool in illustrator are the ones I have to use?
Thanks in advance
Hey guys, I am in need of a logo for my new YouTube Channel, i have a crappy looking one at the moment, I am willing to pay for a logo, But i don't have all that much coin, Please check out the channel here and give me your price.
Let me know what ya think guys and gals
>have Torch browser.(It's based on chrome so it's the same)
>scroll down to "People" and click on "Profile 1".
>"are you sure?"
>don't pay attention
>try to click
>cancel button is on the right when it's usually on the left.
>accidentally delete all bookmarks, favorites, extensions, and apps, with one click.
How the fuck is that even possible? I used "recuva" to get my deleted bookmarks file but the file was some weird file I know nothing about(file). My other bookmark files say "checksum" at the top, then list my bookmarks in the middle of a bunch of code. Does any one know what the hell this kind of file is and how I deal with it??(pic related) is there any way for me to translate it so it can be read? I want to just put it into the new default profile, but it cant be read as is.
I tried unicodeUTF-?, Windows125?, GBK, ISO-?, and every other type of encoding I could think of, but none change anything. I have no clue what the file is, or what type of file it even is. Can somebody help me out. I really want my bookmarks back. There were hundreds of them. And, there are no previous versions under properties on my computer, I don't have a system "image", but I do back up my files and system every couple days. The problem is that every time I try to restore to a previous time it tells me there's an error and it "can't extract c:/ error 0x8000ffff" I already uninstalled BitDefender, Malewarebytes, and turned off all firewalls. I think that file is my bookmarks file, it just can be read in the state it's in. Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask but /adv/ couldn't answer it
Working on an original pokedex. Would really like to see this through to the end. However, I am not artistcally gifted. Anyone on here interested in helping with the artwork? Could be a paid gig if you are skilled.
After editing 8 pictures my client says
>You know what? I'll ask my niece to cut these pictures, she knows how to use the vector tool to cut pictures on Photoshop, you'll still get your payment, but now you'll do the SEO.
hello lovely anons
just want if anyone can help to design a logo for my friend's garage. he works mainly on JEEPs and American muscle cars they called it Performance doctor
I like the overall idea, but simplify the piston.
Also, you might want to consider desiging something related with the doctor/medical stuff.
is /gd/ just underage faggots that wish they were graphic designers?
There's always diversity on these boards no matter what you may think. There's plenty of hobbyists, professionals, amateurs and people who just seek advice. However then there's you. The ass hat who has nothing constructive or anything remotely relevant to the discussion on the threads. You're not even a troll, you're cancer that is beneath a troll and you should go jump off a bridge. At least some trolls generate a laugh but you are just a shit show that spews off negativity, I can only feel bad for your terrible life.
I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.
Critique my Games Main Menu screen.
How can a kaleidoscope effect similar to Flume's artwork be achieved?
It's a pretty simple two-step process, OP. First you open the image in Photoshop - none of that Paint.NET shit here, it has to be Photoshop. Then, you take your keyboard and jam the corner of it into your eye socket until you get the desired effect.
Keep trying, it might take a while.
Hey bros, just finished this piece right here. First major project on PS. It's not perfect but i think it turned out bretty gud. What do you guys think?
Hey. I'm looking for someone to create a cover photo for my second Facebook page called Dribbleware. Must be workplace safe. The page is based around video games and geek culture! :) one similar to the one in terms picture would be awesome but with different graphics, text and font.
I need a graphic desginer
I have to create a logo for a company called 'Reminisce'. Do any of you artists have a suggestion or an idea? The company creates clothing.
