ok /g/, just bought a drone and its been charging for about 40 min or so. I cant fucking wait for the battery to charge the full 4 hours before I take it out. am I going to destroy the battery's charging capability if I do so?
>>56983095
how much was it? looks pretty awesome
>>56983156
it looks like junk
and yes, you need to charge it correctly. if you do not balance charge it at the correct rate and let it do its thing the battery will either degrade extremely fast or it will increase the risk of explosion and fire
>>56983156
I got on sale for a total of $293.--
It got taken down. How do you download Youtube vids now?

That's a CD, you mouthbreather.
PS2 DVDs were silver
So, here i am, wondering if two 3.0 usb flash drives in raid 0 with installed OS would:
1. work
2. be faster than regular hdd
3. be faster than one flash drive
4. be worth it
Thanks!
>>56978058
yes
very likely
yes
no
>>56978058
USB 3.0 flash drives don't mean they necessarily fully use the USB 3.0 theoretical bandwith, they most likely only use a fraction.
Honestly, i dont care about data loss in drive would break.
SSDs are still pricey in my country
how much slower would it be than normal sata3 ssd?
>i don't use an anti-virus i use common sense 2016 :^)
literally why wouldn't you use an anti-virus? there's no downside to using one. even the most poorfag computer on the market now can run anti-virus with no performance hit
install gentoo
becuz i use linux (it's a cool underground program for HACKERS only) and it has no software so naturaly it has no viruz!
>>56977940
>with no performance hit
The only anti-virus that has no performance hit is common sense. As long as you run something on your computer, it is a performance hit.

Help, I recently graduated from a theoretical CS school and can't answer this programming interview question: "write a method that converts a floating type number to a rounded string with 2 decimal digits".
Here's my attempt that isn't working right.public string ShortenFloatString(float valueToShorten)
{
string xString;
string xString2 = "";
xString = valueToShorten.ToString();
if (xString.IndexOf('.') > -1)
xString2 = xString.Substring(xString.IndexOf('.'));
if (xString2.Length > 3)
xString2 = xString2.Substring(0, 3);
if (xString.IndexOf('.') > -1)
xString = xString.Substring(0, xString.IndexOf('.'));
if(xString2.Length > 2)
{
if(xString2[2] == '9')
{
int num = int.Parse(xString2[1].ToString());
if (num <= 9)
{
num++;
xString2 = "." + num.ToString();
}
else
{
num = 0;
xString2 = "." + num.ToString();
int firstNum = int.Parse(xString);
firstNum++;
xString = firstNum.ToString();
}
}
}
return (xString + xString2);
}
I have to email back the correct response soon.

multiply it by 100 and convert it to an int

Remember the following:
>staff occasionally read these generals and have posted here before
>staff may pretend to be normal users asking for invites and when you invite them, they ban you for inviting strangers
>sneaky bastards will try to convince you into believing that cheating can be evaded, it can't and you will be banned with those bastards laughing at you
>people may report emails and other personal info posted here to staff to get you banned
>most of the invite offers here are people trolling you with false hope - begging for invites is a waste of time

But anon, recruitment would have had to be open for it to close
Is what.cd still down?
I'm on suicide watch.
>>56972038
No it's okay anon they've managed to bring back one of their two IRC servers!
Thank you staff and good luck!!!

>Pixel phones at Google Store all SOLD OUT
Just shows that /g/ really doesn't know anything after all
/g/ knows plenty. The phone is an average piece of hardware sold at an above average price.
I still bought one. I think that Google is right in saying that AI is the next major step in computing in the mainstream and I'm excited to start using it.
Come at me, Siri.

This phone is the only phone that will continue to receive stock android updates.
For that alone it is worth the additional 50% markup.
/g/ is always wrong.

How do you know that chinkphones don't have malicious firmware embedded somewhere in the phone's hardware? That's my only deterrent to getting Redmi Note 3
How does sex feel?
Why is Maki such an ugly whore?
Why are Android smartphone manufacturers still trying to compete with Apple? They really can't get close to that superior design.
Just accept it.
You're right. Might as well give up now
The apple website literally says you better get a phone case if you get the jet black finish. Who's cucking who here?

Hi /g/
I found an old laptop, it's missing the charger, but i found one that almost fits
It boots, but the hard drive sounds like it has sand in it everytime it spins
Should i just try and nuke the drive and install whatever or is it possible to swap it to a newer one?
clean the top with a wet paper towel
you should probably swap the HDD, but I doubt it'll break anything else if the HDD dies after some use, so might as well try to wipe it and see if it works before buying another one
Nice find, OP! What's the model number? Should be shown on the inside by the right hinge. Probably starting with X or T.
this is now a post your old ThinkPads thread
A30 I acquired recently.
