The bigger problem is that it is never stated that f(n) is non-negative, though I guess your teacher believes it is implied. Anyhoo, depending on your notation,
O(g) is defined (depending on your textbook) as something like some function "h" s.t.
c * h(n) ≥ g(n), c ≥ 0, ∀ n ≥ n0
So, for these problems you generally have to just find a c and n0 which satisfy that constraint... i.e. n2 = O(n) because:
1*n2 ≥ n, ∀ n ≥ 1
Thus, (again, assuming you did not do your ≤ backwards and assuming f ≥ 0 for all inputs):
c(f + g) ≥ g, c = 1, ∀ n ≥0

Its a pain, took me days of trying various things to unlock mine. You can unlock unofficially but I hear its risky. I'd suggest to try flash global stable via the update app then try flash Chinese dev. If that doesn't work you might need to find a guide that explains how to flash the Chinese from via EDL mode. I think I used this guide http://en.miui.com/thread-235865-1-1.html

Nope. Corporations have already been patenting our genes for years.

They don't actually technically patent the sequence itself, it's usually a patent on some necessary process to get any use out of the gene.

For example, if you wanted to use a human sequence to make massive amounts of a protein, they patent the process by which you isolate the gene, transform it to a bacteria, and tell the bacteria to massively express it. It's a super easy process to do too, undergrads do it all the time in labs.

So even if you had a lab and knew the sequence for this protein, it's illegal to do all this and distribute it even though it's common knowledge.

It's like telling small farmers they aren't allowed to grow their own food.

Windows 7 user here: windows 10 is a fucking train wreck both visually and in terms of usability. Worst part is I was tricked into updating to windows 10 when I clicked the "X" on the little update window thing. Said fuck it and tried it for a month and then just re-installed Windows 7 after Windows 10 was no longer free and being shoved down people's throats. Honestly considering Linux after microshaft stops supporting windows 7.
