People give Samsung shit for glass backed phones, but they use Gorilla Glass 4 on the back.

GG4 scratches at a 6 or 7 on the Mohs scale.
The jet black finish on the iPhone7 scratches at a 3.
If the back of your Galaxy becomes damaged, it is relatively cheap to replace.
If the back of your iPhone7 becomes damaged it is very expensive to replace.

I got the jet black with a black Apple leather case. I know it kind of defeats the purpose a bit, but the case itself is top quality and the parts of the phone that are still visible look very nice.

No regrets so far
