NVIDIA FAGS ON SUICIDE WATCH!

http://www.pcgamesn.com/nvidia/gtx-1070-micron-memory

Some of the latest GTX 1070 cards have been fitted with Micron GDDR5 instead of the original Samsung modules, and some users have been reporting issues when pushing the cards to the limits.

The first flush of Nvidia’s GTX 1070 graphics cards were released using Samsung’s GDDR5 memory modules for their VRAM. They were picked because they could nail the 8,000MHz effective memory speeds without breaking a sweat. It was also the first time that such high performance memory modules were used in reference graphics card designs.

In order to keep up with demand for the popular second-tier Pascal card though manufacturers have started sourcing memory modules from Micron as well. A report from Sweclockers, however, states that some users have started experiencing graphical issues with their new GTX 1070 cards because of the memory switch.

why is C such a dream to code in?
and why is C++ such an abomination?

seriously for some reason programming in C is just so enjoyable to me and C++ just feels painful.
173 posts and 21 images submitted.
>>
because C is simple and beautiful, but you'll need to reinvent the wheel every time or use an external library

sepples is an ugly clusterfuck with a horrifying syntax and undecipherable compilation error messages, but at least it has a lot of functionality already implemented in STL and Boost
>>
Because there's a million ways to do one thing in C++. It just doesn't feel right.
>>
Programming complex shit in C is painful. You reinvent the wheel every time, no OOP, no exception handling, no safety measures, etc.. I think C++ is one of the best languages. Just enough low level to scare pajeets and run fast, just enough high level to gelp write code fast and secure.

Anyone know a good reclining chair that is:

I've heard DxRacer is good, but I've also heard it's bad for your back, and that the seller sometimes ships with missing parts...

Anyone know something that would be good for about 16/7? (16h/d, 7d/wk)

Because when you get bundled it's voip. It costs peanuts to implement and they charge you like 30-40 bucks for it so it generates tons of profit.

Is it possible to build a (5 year at least) future proof rig for 1000$ or less?

You can swap the 1070 for a 1060 if you really want to save ~120$, but that's up to you

There's your first and foremost problem.

I brought my T420 with Arch on it with me on vacation last week, brought a USB stick with some Anime on it for when i had some downtime.

I just plugged it in and it worked.

I copied the files from my windows desktop and it instantly was detected when i plugged it into my thinkpad running arch.

All I did was then transfer the files from the USB drive to the video folder on my thinkpad and played the files. I dont play files from USB directly as that causes undue stress on the flashdrive.
