What's your solution to organizing bookmarks?

I've got bookmark folders in chrome yet it's still unorganized as fuck. It's annoying clicking through subfolders. Some bookmarks are useful shit I want to remember, the rest are links I save to read later.
Then after a while I have to sift through dead links and delete what I don't want anymore and it's a huge time waste

How do you save your bookmarks?

six folders and a few links outside them. about two dozen links total. no bloat, no problem.
>>
>>57734612
This sounds good
I think I'm just going to do what you said and for guides I'll save webpages or copy to text files and archive them
>>
>>57734529
What I visit daily - on speed dial(luckily I don't use Chrome and can add as many speed dial tiles as I want). The rest is just in the bookmarks - it's not that much of a hassle to scroll or search for it if I don't visit it every day. For some sites that I know the way they are getting updated(like webcomics, new fanfic chapters) I wrote a program that checks them hourly and opens a tab in case something new appears there.

I have a question.

I have 4 memory slots on my motherboard. I have installed four 8Gb sticks, one in each slot. However, I'm only seeing 16Gb of total physical memory in my task manager. Is this normal?

Anon, no. please go to the stupid questions general thread instead of shitting up the board with your own personal tech advice thread.

1) Where are the water damage indicators on a Galaxy S4 MINI? do I have to take it apart? I've looked up on the internet, and everything is for the "main" S4.
2) Is it worth going to a service?

I need help /g/

So I just bought the rx 480 4GB for 190$ swedenmoneys

I intend to play 1080p@60~ with my freesync monitor for a couple of years with this new card before I sell and upgrade

I'm just wondering if I should return it and spend 60$ on the 8GB version of this card for the "future-proofing" aspect, seeing as games start requiring more and more VRAM.

190$ for 4GB and 250$ for 8GB, worth it?
>What do?

>>
there is no value in getting the 8gb 480 if you're playing gaymes at 1080p, i have a 3.5 cuck card and dont even have trouble.

you're also not gonna future proof with a $200 gpu, if you want the card to last more than a year or two you need a higher end card like a 1080 or titan xp

How about keeping the 480 4GB and waiting for maybe some mid-range AMD card with higher VRAM in Q1 2017??

Are there any mid-range cards coming out? What's that vega stuff I've been hearing so much about...Don't really know what's going on for amd atm

Hi /g/, sorry for asking but I've tried google suggestions and they didn't help. My USB devices will randomly disconnect. Especially if I use the webcam, the wifi adaptor will disconnect. But it can happen with hard drives too when the webcam isn't connected.

I thought maybe it's a power issue, but I don't know how to fix that.

I've tried updating device drivers, and stopping Windows 10 from managing power options for all USB ports but nothing helped.

Is it more likely a problem with Win10 or maybe something failing in my hardware?

I'd try replacing the motherboard. If it's the ports integrated into your case, replace that.

first of all even if the fed can't crack most vpn technologies they can still see where the data is flowing at it all leads back to your address/mac. The only way to stay hidden is through obfuscation.

I could always connect to my vps through free McDonalds wifi.

But, seriously, I'm just looking for a vps that takes security seriously and wont give up my info if a scrape the wrong website or something.

>While there are a wide variety of add-ons, quite a few allow users to stream pirated movies and TV-shows, which are hosted by streaming cyberlockers.

>These cyberlockers generate revenue through advertising. However, many Kodi add-ons strip these ads, which means that they only cost these sites valuable resources. In response, several cyberlockers are now trying to ban these add-ons from ‘stealing’ their content.

>“They change the coding to break the Kodi Add-on, and that’s specifically being done because Kodi add-ons are causing a spike in server load and that costs them money and bandwidth,” Eleazar explained.

>This week TorrentFreak spoke to an operator of one of the largest streaming cyberlockers, who preferred not have his site named. He confirmed that Kodi add-ons are indeed a thorn in their side.

>“Kodi plugins are harming cyberlockers due to their massive bandwidth usage, which is not compensated in any way,” he said.

>According to the cyberlocker operator, several of his competitors have already shut down due to this problem. With so many people leeching bandwidth, the sites are no longer as profitable as they were.

>“I would also say that some hosts, which are already gone, were heavily affected from draining bandwidth from third party applications.”

>Other sites, including the one we’ve spoken to, are trying very hard to block Kodi add-ons from their service. This is somewhat successful, but often the add-on developers find their way around it.

>“To fight this, we keep our streaming links obfuscated, changing them multiple times a week,” the cyberlocker operator says.

>Ironically, the above means that the Kodi add-ons might be destroying their own sources, making it harder to find pirated content in the long run.

I too have thia tendency to buy power banks.
Now I have 2 li-ion 10.000 mah (MI) and 3 li-poly (ZMI). I always make the "one for me and one for my wife or another family member"-excuse, while in the end I end up hoarding them for myself.
They can also be useful as a last minute birthday present or may be you could just add a timer and diy a handmade bomb with the combined amp capacity.
