What's your solution to organizing bookmarks?
I've got bookmark folders in chrome yet it's still unorganized as fuck. It's annoying clicking through subfolders. Some bookmarks are useful shit I want to remember, the rest are links I save to read later.
Then after a while I have to sift through dead links and delete what I don't want anymore and it's a huge time waste
How do you save your bookmarks?
six folders and a few links outside them. about two dozen links total. no bloat, no problem.

This sounds good
I think I'm just going to do what you said and for guides I'll save webpages or copy to text files and archive them

What I visit daily - on speed dial(luckily I don't use Chrome and can add as many speed dial tiles as I want). The rest is just in the bookmarks - it's not that much of a hassle to scroll or search for it if I don't visit it every day. For some sites that I know the way they are getting updated(like webcomics, new fanfic chapters) I wrote a program that checks them hourly and opens a tab in case something new appears there.

Use a logical hierarchy for folders OP.

Put most common things on the bar. No names, just recognise them by icon. Start with the most commonly-used ones at the left and the rarely used ones to the right. If you have multiple links of the same website, group them in a folder. Or if you have a lot of content pertaining on one subject but rarely access it all, put it in a folder too.
