You could trim $100 off it easy, with cheaper mobo case and PSU. What you picked is fine though, and unless you're strapped for cash, I'd stick with it.

for the love of god don't get jewish with the PSU, it's a common "first time" mistake to pick a cheap PSU, and after a year your mobo and gpu suddenly stop working causing you a lot of trouble.
your choice is fine, but an extra 20$ on the PSU won't kill you for sure, consider removing the CPU cooler and using the stock one for upgrading to a liquid solution later.

battery life is excellent for both tegra and intel-y

if you could outfit only the gpu portion from tegra p1 with an intel core m it would be heaven

Hey /g/, I heard something about Microsoft disallowing vendors from adding support for new hardware on Windows 7 starting next year. I run Win 7 but I was putting off buying anything until later. Should I get all the newest shit now if I plan to run Win 7 for as long as possible?

Guys, help. This shit has been going on for at least an hour.

It just keeps searching for updates.

Do I just have to wait for it to pop up in the corner and tell me that windows needs to restart for updates or what? This mic I have need Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Platform Update but it won't just let me run the update without the update searching for more updates.

Is there some spacemacs (emacs + vim keybings) users here?

I always have been coding in vim with a bloated configuration (like 40 plugins, autocompletion, 100 keybindings etc.) and I just switched today just to see.

I'm pretty satisfied of what I can do so far.

Anyone here tried it?

Hey /g/ looking to do a budget build. Looking to buy this Optiplex 745 for dirt cheap and budget build it for gaming. It currently has an Intel Core 2 Duo, should I get an Intel Quad Core 2 or leave it be and upgrade around it? And what parts does /g/ suggest on budget?
27 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>57739295
What budget? Cus you seriously poor if you want to buy a core 2 duo.
>>
>>57739329
It already has that in it.
>>
>>57739295
If you can't get it for free you're not broke enough to bother with core 2. Also, those small form factor PCs have teeny PSUs that can't support anything bigger than a GT 730. You can't even use a 750 ti.
