I am having a hard time looking for a reasonable video editing software. I don't want to spend more the 200 (even that is steep). I was hoping someone could please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

What do you mean?
Shit, and people wonder why Linux is amateurish dogshit!
DELTE THIS
its the most popular open source project, of course kids are going to try and get into it and make contributions
No one who knows two shits about operating systems uses Linux, OP.
You're either preaching to the choir or to deaf ears.
Is there a board that doesn't have borderline-nsfw shit that I can browse?
Here, I'm going to post a /g/-related image for a change. You guys should try it.
4chan is not sfw even the the sfw boards are just not safe for work.
Only an idiot would browse 4chan in an environment everything needs to be sfw.
No board on 4chan is actually safe to browse in public. The SFW rules are just there to prevent porn dumps and stuff
You could also just browse on your phone or use an addon that removes pictures
/ck/, /trv/, /k/, or /n/ are pretty tame too
Hey, I'm new to the world of personal computers. Barely have any worthwhile knowledge. With a few videos I managed to put the parts of my new build together but there are still some loose cables.
Any idea where they go?
2/?
Those are extra sata power cables, in case you get more HDD or SSD. Nothing to worry about.

extra cables in case you add anything else dw about it
How powerful has a pc to be for watching internet tv and an operating system suitable for touchscreen?
>>57732666
My 5 year old laptop can do that.
It all depends on how heavy the advertisment applications are I guess.
>>57732666
Yes
>>57732666
That's literally what the AppleTV and similar Android derivatives are. You could build a tiny puck-sized system using a Raspberry Pi that will do that and more.
I want to learn C++
what sites/books do I start with

Start with my dick, work your way up to my asshole.
Same OP as the guy who was trying to figure out how to screen mirror from computer A to computer B.
Tried VNC, but its not really fast.
Tried live streaming, looks promising but its a bit complicated but it worked out so far.
So I've figured out how to run my RTMP server on my PC and throw a livestream at it from the same PC. Currently trying to view this livestream from my laptop.
Question: How do I view this livestream?
I've tried VLC (quality is crap, sometimes DCs even in LAN).
I've tried some code generators for RTMP stream (but you'd need internet connection for it to work*)
*The setup doesn't have internet connection
Ah yes, I've set OBS at 5000 kbps bitrate, 30fps, bilinear, at 1024x768 resolution. For process priority I set it at high.
i'm not proud but it works

It just hit me lol. I thought about using remote desktop apps like teamviewer and such, but was wondering how I'd automate it. I just got how I'd do this now. Thanks for the idea
Post your component list, rate other anons', ask questions in general.
Always state the purpose of your PC, your budget, AND YOUR COUNTRY if outside the USA.
If you are asking for improvements, clarify whether you want to lower price or to improve specs or build quality.

What ya think /g/? Good enough for gaming at 1440p 60hz and some overclocking?
there is crucial sport 16 gigs kit in sale now, but its 6 year old ram. is it still worth using for years to come?
also a bit pricer but still 4 year old crucial vengeance kit
does cloning OS works everytime or only for some brands of ssds? read some review comments that said it didnt worked for them

TBP gets raided and seized every 3 to 6 months on average I would say but that fucker never goes down for long, I don't know how they're doing it but there's always a copy of it somewhere, just waiting to take over. They have better uptime then most sites.

They're all FBI honeypots.
Hi /g/, I hope that you can help me.

Is it me or does programming in Swift 3 really suck??
its meant to be really good. ive started but havent really gotten deep into it.
>>57732311
Well here's the thing as a beginner programmer it is easy to get into... but the advanced stuff and weird bugs and other issues are so bad. I think because its new and still needs work.
>>57732245
could you be more specific?
Hi /g/.
I've just covered my webcam, and I'm wondering if I'm worrying too much over if someone is spying on me? Is it a 'tinfoil hat' thing to do?
That won't do jack shit.
What about your microphone.
What about the realtek driver that can use speakers as audio input.
There is no winning.
>>57732202
>2016
>not also muffling your microfone
There's no point worrying about it since you know for sure that someone is spying on you.

@sarek: xanax is curry as fuck
<@sarek> AzzA asked me 'why would you do that to yourself' when I said 'i put the site back up'. It's very simple really. I know I'm capable of making the best music tracker out there. The functionality I've planned and laid out will be second to none. I won't be beaten. I'm sure now that i've been sabotaged, the others will have more users, but I am hell bent on quality over everything.

Do you use "natural scrolling"?
>>57732117
Yes, natural scrolling combined with Apple's god-tier trackpads make every other option literally garbage.

Also known as reverse scrolling? And no.
