Should I update to 50.0.2 or downgrade ESR 45.5.1? Currently on 49.0.1.

Firefox is my "work" and casual SFW browser, Chromium is my porn browser because it never crashes even if you have a billion webms, endless-scrolling tumblrs and flash videos running at once in separate tabs due to its multi-process architecture.

Although I have to say Chromium should be the one recommended to work/corporate environments because of its rock-solid stability.

Maybe I should abandon Firefox altogether and use Chrome for SFW stuff and Chromium for porn.

Chrome/Chromium is tolerable with the UI-enhancing extensions Empty New Tab Page, Center images, Font Rendering Enhancer (at 60% strength).

Why don't you just use chromium

Aurora, Firefox version 52. Stable enough to use in a production environment, and bleeding edge enough to patch security holes before crackers get cracking.

Is building a PC the millenial equivalent of modding a car?

I've been trying out different linux distros (mint, ubuntu, solus meme, currently ubuntu again). It's one thing to be dealing with the terminal and non-obvious stuff, I don't mind as long as there are tutorials online, even though it's cumbersome. But in all of them I've ran through all sorts of problems and stability issues, not to mention little workflow problems because I'm not a hacker and can't customize certain things to my taste without deep knowledge of the terminal. I thought stability was the main advantage of linux, and I don't think I'm going to find it by trying the rest of the 48592487524 distros available out there to see what works best. Meanwhile macs are too fucking expensive and Apple is trying to kill the mac lineup anyways. Do I have an option other than concede to the botnetOS by microsoft? or should I deal with the petty little problems that I'm getting day after day in linux?

>>
Win7 or try gentoo or a debian based distro like bunsenlabs. Lubuntu is also good. Mint is suspect.
>>
Forget about botnet.

It doesn't affect you. It has never affected you.

Just use fucking Window and be comfy. Play games, watch DRM videos, browse faster with Opera and pirate Microsoft Outlook for your emails.

And don't forget to sync your stuff on Google Drive. Free 15GB.

My PC powered off early today and I was trying to figure out what happened. I went and bought a PSU from a local store thinking that may be the problem after testing some things, upon reconnecting everything and giving it a shot with an open case, my nvidia MSI GTX 770 spat fire out at me then enveloped the surroundings in a cloud of smoke.

It's still under a 3 year warranty so I'm gonna defiintely contact them and see what can be done, but what do you think they'll do for me /g/?

What can you do on windows 10 that you can't do on xp?

Is it just software compatibility? How difficult would that be to patch?

I don't agree that windows vista, 7, 8, and 10 should be so demanding on your system when XP is still so capable.

So what makes them so much better than xp?

How to spot the ISS?

It's a pretty dumb question, but I tried like 10 minutes ago as it should be visible for like 3mins. Used compas and this nasa website https://spotthestation.nasa.gov/ but I just couldnt spot it.

Also there is near no light here so light isn't the problem. I also waited 5 minutes so my eyes are being used to dark.

win 2k was the only good win. everything past that was adding garbage. this is why server is superior. it's new win without the extra garbage.
