PC did something weird today. I booted it up, fans spin and leds came on, then turned off for about 3 seconds, then it booted normally. Fairly new computer, never had issues with it before, excellent psu and mobo etc (gigabyte mobo, evga gold psu). Any idea what caused this?
Only thing I've done different is I've been turning it off at night as opposed to leaving I on. ( another issue is the front case fans squeak upon booting but they're on the cheap side and its cold in my room, I assume its the grease getting cold? Only does it when its cold)

I need some help. My desktop pc died after 4+ years of use and I don't want to shell out $500+ to get a new one. I know I'll have to replace things but I want to salvage as much as I can.
The problem is that the pc doesn't come on at all. Fans don't start, no lights, doesn't get to the BIOS. I put in a new power supply and it worked for a day but now it's having the same problem. It's a hp p6-2143w if that matters, pic related. How do I fix it?

It's a nice distro and all and everything works nice for me, but things like the network manager and gui related stuff will frequently break a couple of times a day. Anyway having the same issue?
