Every other site just copies one or the other. Imgur itself is basically just making cash off of Reddit's leftovers, so is 9gag, so is funnyjunk, and the chive, and every other crap meme website. They're "leftovers" websites. The shit there's a week or sometimes a fucking month old, especially Minecraft.
Don't even get me started on Minecraft. Too late. It was here how many goddamn months before it even showed up once on reddit? /V/ was a battlefield for about two years before it became popular.

Don't get me wrong I actually love free software. However, functionality must come first before ideals.
Pretty much all of Linux's problems boil down to the fact that it has substandard programs. Photoshop is better than Gimp. MS office btfo's Open Office. I couldn't find a decent video and audioplayer program anywhere. No, I didn't like mpv, since it has no gui, it's trash.
Or it simply has no programs - in the case of videogaymes.
When these things change I'll be the first to migrate, but until then, I'll stay on Win7.

I can't make up my mind.
On one hand, touch controllers and optics of the rift are better than the vives.
On the other, the vive does roomscale much better, though the rift can do roomscale in a smaller area.
Which is better longterm? I hear the build quality of the rift is much higher than the vive too. And if exclusives are rift only and not vive only, the rift has a greater library available.

I have used Apple products for a few years now. I wanna switch to something more versatile though.
What do you /g/uys recommend for a first-time Android user? (I have experience with Linux-based systems so an option to root would be nice too.) My budget is something 500-700€ish.

If you're actually going to spend that much, might as well get a Google Pixel.
If you want something cheaper with still flagship specs, the OnePlus 3 is worth a look, is whatever LG's current flagship is. Avoid Samsung at all costs, their modification to Android are much worse than just using stock or near-stock android.
