Are there other options? I figure if I fix the display elsewhere they'd fix the phone for "free" since it's actually a SW/HW issue and not due to the physical state of the phone. Anyone with knowledge of T-Mobile or retail phone jobs please send me some recommendations.
how long ago did you buy the phone?

2014 I believe. Thing is, T-Mobile still insures it because I pay monthly for it to be insured.

How much time is it supposed to take to actually understand anything?
Centuries.
Coding is hard but after let's say 1 month of littles projects and tutorials you'll start to have fun.
Also you should try free code camp, very well explained and intuitive.
I've been learning for 3 or 4 months. I've learned Python syntax, basic Javascript and I'm now learning Java to make an android app.
I think I've spent the most time doing programming puzzles in Javascript and at this point I'm pretty confident going forward. This may be a sign of spending time with it in general. Thing have started to click and I'm no longer driven insane during a tutorial by everything I don't know / that the tutorial isn't going in depth enough with.
I did Udacity's Object Oriented Programming with Python class and left without having learned anything. Then I learned how to use Objects by doing a coding challenge where it was useful (up until that point I'd use multiple arrays, and iterate over them in the same loops to mimic the use of an object) and googling how to use it, then messing around with them.
I was able to see their use from there.
I'm now learning OOP in Java and everything is kind of clicking. In general everything is just a lot less painful.
tl;dr: Stick with it. Singular languages don't mean much. You're learning computing as a whole.
I am trying to find useful IoT devices, but it seems like there are only mimics and memes to be found with rare exception.

Interesting architecture that sacrifices everything it can in favor of sandboxing, but I wouldn't recommend for any serious use.

I'm deobfuscating some malware I found in an excel file online. It's in 2 parts; I'll put them up as plaintext so you guys can see it. Check it out, it's pretty interesting.
Anyway, I'm gonna keep working on it. If you happen to know what it does or how to deobfuscate it quickly it'd be cool of you to tell me. Not asking for help, just sayin'

Okay so christmas is coming around and my little brother needs a graphics card but the problem is, im left with $200 (AUD) to spend for it.
I was looking at the "Radeon RX 460 Gigabyte WindForce 2GB" because i didn't see that it needs a Power Connector from the PSU. Can someone confirm this? because im so confused because he doesn't have a recent PSU only a 500W PSU that doesnt have the 6 PIN or 4 PIN Power Connectors. If you have any suggestions, it would be very appreciated.
According to the manual found here, there is no power connection.

Nope

Yes
why are they so expensive?
then don't even come with the speakers and cost $500 wtf senpai
just buy them used. it's a receiver.

At least 5 amplifiers, quite a bit of electronics to handle all the DSP, shitloads of inputs and features.
Wouldn't be suprised if half the price of Japanese receivers is just paying for the shipping from the factory in Japan.
Alright g, I've been looking for months for a linux distro that matches these specs and for the life of me I can't find one, can you help me? It must be
*Rolling release
This is not a hard requirement, but I'd like it since it has better chances of having up to date software (an issue that plagues debian). I can live without it as long as the release schedule isn't absurdly short (looking at you fedora).
*RPM Based
Again, not a hard requirement, I despise apt and the deb package system, it's slow, bulky and untrustworthy. I'll put up with anything but apt, and yum seems like the only alternative.
*Systemd
I'd be hard pressed to find a distro nowadays that doesn't have systemd, but since I know how all of you get off to openrc I thought I'd actually have to say something. I like systemd's whole setup what with netctl and the like, I'm much more familiar with it and since openrc is dying quickly I don't see any point in learning how it works.
*Low bloat
Something that is really annoying is that, when I install debian GNOME, it comes with half a dozen games. I don't want your stupid games, and I can't remove them without completely reinstalling gnome and fucking the whole system up. Same for just about every other distro except maybe variations of fedora. Same goes for ubuntu and it's new amazon app, I get that it can be uninstalled easily, it is more acceptable but I'd rather avoid that.
*Actual utilities
This is the main reason why I'm such a fan of arch in spite of all of it's failings, it comes with a bunch of things that are actually useful, ifconfig, wifimenu and netctl all come to mind. A default installation of debian, without a desktop environment comes with none of the things I need to learn about my system to set up networking to get my package manager off the ground.
>>57829866
Right now, there are only 3 distro’s that meet all of my requirements, gentoo, arch and fedora, and they all have their own problems. Gentoo is a bitch and a half to install, I’ve done it before and I could do it again, but maintaining something like that is not a good use of my time and energy. Fedora’s repos are a cluster fuck of library versions, rpmfusion is cancer and epl isn’t big enough, if installing vlc is more then ‘dnf install vlc’ then there’s a problem. And on that note, why isn’t vlc in the default repos anyways? You can’t honestly tell me it’s not popular enough. I can understand why a repo like, say, centos would not care about it, being a server distro, but a polished, desktop distro has no excuse for excluding big league software like that, what other common software have they axed? At the end of the day, arch looks to be the only answer, and I don’t want to discredit it with “hurdur stability”, I’ve never even experienced problems with it being bleeding edge, but I want something that’s a little more trustworthy, but if I can’t I’ll go with arch.
Well g? What is the god distro?
