what workouts for building strength in the forearms?
I'm a machinist who does a lot of twisting (turning taps and the like) and I play drums and guitar, so forearm strength is the most actually useful strength for me.
not a gym rat by any means so basic equipment please

Hey /fit/, in almost every self-improvement thread someone suggests that you drink lots of water. Obviously, you need some water but why so much? What makes water better than other drinks that are 95% water?

Can /fit/ advise?

When I'm benching (Even as low as just the bar)

My arms twitch uncontrollably to the point of if I load up 100kg, which I can bench, although the twitches actually displace the bar and I nearly collapsed.

So for as long as I ca remember my joints have popped and cracked all over, my shoulders pop all time, my knees crack every time I kneel down and basically everywhere else, so do you guys have any tips to help or is there anything I can do to help smooth out my tendons n such?

newbie/weakling here on college campus. the gyms are so crowded when I go to them (around the evening) and I'm pretty self-conscious about my body (I'm a runner with very little strength), does /fit/ have any advice on working on strength and not being super intimidated? should i just go early when there's barely any people?

The less people the better in my opinion, but it honestly comes down to schedule. Id start on the full body basics before strength. One week should prep you though.
