newbie/weakling here on college campus. the gyms are so crowded when I go to them (around the evening) and I'm pretty self-conscious about my body (I'm a runner with very little strength), does /fit/ have any advice on working on strength and not being super intimidated? should i just go early when there's barely any people?
also general newbie advice thread I guess
when you first step into the gym, find the biggest guy there and grab him by the balls.
this will show everyone there that you are the true alpha. then you can lift without worry

The less people the better in my opinion, but it honestly comes down to schedule. Id start on the full body basics before strength. One week should prep you though.
