Hey /fit/!

Finally managed to start again, and this time with a friend! ..the problem is he refuses to read up on working out concepts.

Problem is, he is one of those guys that looks fit without training, and can go to the gym for 2 months to look like he's been going for a year.

He is used to pretty high volume workouts, the times he buys 1 month memberships.

What can I say to convince him AAA
5x5 Squat, deadlift, pull up, standing press, bent-over rows, bench, +2x15 curls and calves are too much volume?

Atm he wants to add dips into the mix, while I want to split current compounds into ABA. We will be doing the same workout, kind of the point for "beginners" to be going together, and keep up the motivation. Afraid he'll lose interest if he doesn't "feel" like he's been working out/not enough volume.

let him do what works for him and you do what works for you. Just go to the gym together and leave at the same time. Gymbros are cool at the beginning but turn out really annoying anyways.

I stopped drinking energy drinks for a week (mostly because I only liked Monster Energy Absolutely Zero and I need to save money) and just today my local store started selling Monster Energy Ultra Zero. I bought one out of curiosity because it's been shilled so much here and this is the first time I've seen them sold anywhere and oh___my___fucking___God it tastes heavenly. It's like Sprite mixed with pussy juice and caffeine.

I can see myself drinking two of these a day so that's 120 euros per month. Is this a good investment?

Hey /fit/, I'm going to be living on my own with a low budget, any tips on living healthy cheap? I have lots of whey, oats, and green tea already and have never really had to budget much before so help is appreciated.

That's pretty complete right there and not expensive at all. Beans are a good protein/carb mix too, very cheap and very filling.

Concurrent periodization makes the most sense for recreational lifters.

What actual ingredient does that and why do I want to raise testosterone in the body and lower estrogen? Looking it up, it's like "this compound turns into this triglyceride and this triglyceride affects this organ which in turn produces this protein" etc.

Ok guys I have a problem here
I've been on SS for 2.5 months and so far so good until now.
My squat went from 115 to 185
Bench from 95 to 125
OHP from 75 to 95
Diddly from 185 to 245

I've been able to make jumps in weight almost every, but right now the only thing that's progressing is my deadlift. Everything else has stalled and I don't know why. I'm not eating any less btw, still averaging 4500 kcl a day

Do I back up and make jumps from there or do I keep lifting the weight I'm at until I can handle it and then progress?
