If you can stick with it, P90X (the whole program, not just the excercises) guarantees results for beginners. You have to be dedicated though. The big benefit is the diet guidelines. They teach you how to eat for your activity.

What are the benefits of running, /fit/izens? Why don't we emphasize cardio more?
Lifting is all well and good, an important part of the gym to be sure, but if you can't run at the very least 8 miles in under an hour, how can you say you're truly fit?

Cycling is the patrician cardio. You get to see places you've never been before, it's social and doesn't fuck up your joints because it's low impact.

Is there something like that running couch to 5k program for pushups? I need to do around 70 perfect form pushups in under a minute but I feel like im stalling at 40 shity form reps

Iv just been increasing sets but it doesn't seem to help as much as i would like for reps

I'm 203lb and I have been losing since mid 2016 I started a 235lb. I used to do my fitness pal and stopped and now it's time to restart. Not because I am losing weight in fact I have been maintaining for around 4 months it's for the fact that I eat 690cal when I need to eat 1600. What should I do also /fit/ brethren?

Less shadows = less fat in his mind.

Also darker skin (redder) reflects less light and looks less "in your face"

I am going to start my cut with an experiment by eating one keto meal a day in the morning after my workout.
I am aiming for 1800-2000 kcal.

I have some belly fat I want to get rid of. I also want to see the veins in my biceps better.

I am 175cm and 65 kg. I have cubital tunnel syndrome so I can't do exercises where I bend my elbow. Will doing only deadlifts till i get healed make me stronger and more defined? I will also do exercises for abs and legs.

Guys I need help. During 2012 when I used to regularly visit here, there was a website everyone posted stats from. I believe its initials were SS. You also had to log in to access your stats. Your stats were also arranged by how they compare to other people, in relation to BMI. So if you could dead 4p as a 5'10", you were considered "expert". Is it a good idea to do squats and deadlifts on the same day? By the time I get to the next exercise my lower back is fried and I feel weak as fuck

Sure, upper/lowers are a great setup. Do your squats then take a break, maybe 5-10 minutes depending on how much you exerted yourself, then setup for deathlifts. Its daunting at first but after a couple weeks of working out like that your body gets used to it

I do squats and stiff leg snatch grip deadlift on one leg day, front squat and deadlift on the other. Works great, making all kinds of gains.
