Yeah. Working in low rep ranges really is for someone with extensive training and great form. 1 to 3 rep max work is great for strenght and not size but also puts you in the high injury risk area.
3x8-12 is for faggots. haha. Nah, it's typically more hypotrophy focused and less CNS / strenght focused.
For most people, and certainly for people who need to ask your question like you, 5 x 5 is pretty good, but 3-4x8-12 will get you where you want to go quicker - because you aren't a competitive lifter and don't want to be.
So just do the programme your gym gave you when you started.

Same issue. Not sure on round 2 help but focus on breathing, don't tighten your legs or glutes when you thrust, and slow down. Also check that you're wearing an appropriately sized condom (girth wise, anything should do for length)
