I was working towards a bachelors in criminal justice and then interned and got completely turned off, now I've started all over. Going back this semester to study web development. Why are you bombing finals, man? The barbell can't make you feel better if everything else in life is bad. I know this. I used to smoke about 1.5 packs of cigs a day
About two months ago I decided to quit smoking and I weened myself down to one or two cigs a day last week.
I decided to say fuck it and try dropping it completely this week.
It's been four days since I had a cig, how long do the cravings stay this bad?

Never said I'm thinking about caving in, but I'm literally shaking from what I assume is nicotine withdrawal.

Also if anyone can post some literature or tips on how to do this better it would be much appreciated.

Hey /fit/.
I have a simple question, however, as I'm a gym newbie, I'm pretty clueless.
So I've started to go to the gym and lift about four months ago. I've got myself a coach, who gave me my diet and a whole training and all that jazz.
I've started at about 190cm and 55kg, and currently, I'm weighing at about 65kg, so I'd say the bulk is getting pretty good.
However, even though I follow my diet closely and whatnot, I can't get off of my habit of drinking. I do about 5 beers and two shots daily. And besides the obvious problem of going drunk to the gym, which I've done only a couple of times, could this affect my gains and growth somehow?

It will absolutely CRIPPLE your possible gains.
The average can of beer has 154kcal x 5 = 770kcal DAILY, not even taking the shots into account.
Not to mention that alcohol has a negative impact on overall strength.

You were a skelly, you are still a skelly, but 10kgs is a lot for a skelly, so good job gaining all that.
Stop drinking. It is horrible for your gains and growth. Beer in particular is full of empty calories and promotes estrogen production reducing your test and fucking up your gains. Stop drinking right fucking now. get drunk AT MOST 2 times a month, and do it by mixing cheap vodka with low sugar mixers.

Can we have a bowel movement thread? What's the perfect shit? How should i eat to optain it?

I don't know if i have IBS - light or something but i swar to god like 8/10 times my shit will never be solid. Like i'll shit out one moist/wet sausage and then 2-3 small ones and they really dirty up my a - hole on their way out. It's fucking hell to clean up, like sometimes i'll have to wipe my ass forever to get it perfect. And even worse sometimes the shit will break off in the middle which makes it even worse to too wipe.

Fucking hell how do i avoid this? I feel like i eat enough fiber, but maybe not. Also sometimes it seems like the longer i go inbetween each shit the more solid it will be. I basically just wanna shit dry , solid sausages that are in one fucking piece and dont take forever to wipe.

what's your idea of eating enough fiber by the way?

also, you might be intolerant to some foods (maybe lactose or fructose intolerance).

other than that your gut flora might have turned to shit. most people have issues with their gut microbiome. oftentimes that problem manifests in your skin as well, e.g. with neurodermitis.
this can be caused by taking antibiotics that eradicate good gut bacteria or unhealthy eating (like lots of refined sugar/starch that feed the wrong kind of bacteria and can cause candida). pic related helps "repopulating" the gut with healthy bacteria. i can recommend drinking kombucha, it's fucking delicious. apart from that, as far as i know, the best probiotic supplement on the market is VSL #3 , which people take after repeated exposure to antibiotics among other things.
